Insider Update 3.8.2.7 is now live. This is the second Insider build of the hardening phase for our next release; features seen in this build will align with what will be released to the main game in our next Update.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Season Pass Rewards
To facilitate Insider testing, the Season 21 Star Prize has been granted to Insiders in their Equipment Chest.
Chest of Fortune
Following Insider feedback, the guaranteed Chests of Fortune at the Fort of Fortune, Fleet of Fortune and Burning Blade have now been removed.
The Fort of Fortune and Burning Blade will now return to having a chance to receive a Chest of Fortune as part of the three loot hauls available for other World Events. The Fleet of Fortune has now been disabled.

Custom Seas
Season Pass
Players who find their rewards automatically claimed at the end of a Season may find they receive the incorrect amount of Ancient Coins. The team are aware of this issue and are working to address it ahead of the Live update.
Players with the Fate’s Light Lantern equipped may find that performing a lantern-based emote can replace the equipped lantern with the default lantern.
Custom Seas - Layouts
Layouts now display the ‘Date Created’ and ‘Last Saved’ times using the player’s local time rather than server time.
A Layout’s ‘Last Saved’ time now updates only when the Layout is saved rather than when it is opened.
Custom Seas
With the ‘Ship Damage’ switch’s fire damage and flooding turned off, the Ship Invulnerability command should no longer reset those settings.
Items from past Sea of Thieves Adventures now award the intended Silver and show appropriate notifications when handed in during a Custom Seas session.
Fast Travelling to Old Faithful Isle no longer causes a player to be panic teleported to a new location on arrival.
Environment
A blue reflection no longer appears on equipped guns when jumping near the Hunter’s Call shop at Outposts.
Improvements have been made to areas of the environment at The Crooked Masts, Barnacle Cay, Picaroon Palms and Sandy Shallows to address visual issues and prevent players from becoming stuck while traversing.
Visual and Audio
Attacking various animals found across the islands will now trigger the correct impact audio effects.
The Sea of Thieves logo on the title screen is now correctly centred.
Title screen textures no longer flicker when playing on Xbox consoles.
The pirate’s hand no longer clips through the Steely Hammerhead Cutlass when blocking or performing cutlass emotes.
