Geekya.com (hereinafter Geekya, the platform, site or service) is a collection of personal projects, tools, games, APIs, utilities and online services operated under a shared user account system.
By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These Terms apply to all services provided under Geekya (geekya.com and its subdomains), including websites, APIs, browser games, utilities and future additions.
Individual services may have additional rules or documentation. Where those exist, they supplement these Terms.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.
If you are under the age required by the laws of your country, you may only use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts may not be shared or sold without permission.
Geekya reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, refuse or remove public-facing information (such as your username) to comply with applicable law, enforce these Terms, protect the operation or integrity of the platform, or safeguard other users.

Use of automated tools is permitted only where explicitly supported, such as through published APIs or API keys.
Using cheats, bots, exploits or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent account termination.
Content submitted to the platform must not:

Geekya reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, refuse, edit or remove user-generated content where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce these Terms, protect the operation or integrity of the platform, or safeguard other users.
You retain ownership of content you create, upload or store through the platform.
By using the service, you grant Geekya a non-exclusive licence to store, process, display and transmit your content solely for operating the service and any features you enable, such as sharing with other users.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.
Some services allow users to contribute information intended to improve shared datasets, such as tags, classifications, metadata or similar community-maintained content.
By submitting such contributions, you grant Geekya a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, modify, combine, publish and redistribute those contributions as part of the platform.
These contributions may remain available even if your account is later deleted.
Some content may be shared through public links or with other users.
You are responsible for deciding what you choose to share.
Anyone with access to a public sharing link may be able to view the shared content.
Unless otherwise stated:
remain the property of Geekya or their respective owners.
These Terms do not grant ownership of the platform itself.
Documented APIs may be used according to their documentation.
Rate limits, authentication requirements and usage restrictions may change.
Undocumented endpoints are not considered public APIs.
The service is provided on an as is
and as available
basis. Many services provided through the platform are experimental or in active development. Features, APIs, user interfaces and behaviour may change without prior notice. Services may be discontinued or replaced at any time.
No guarantee is made regarding:
Maintenance, outages and feature changes are expected parts of operating the platform.
Features may be added, modified or removed at any time.
Reasonable efforts are made to preserve user data.
However, users remain responsible for maintaining backups of important information.
Where available, data export (Takeout
) tools are provided to assist with backups and migration.
No guarantee is made that data can always be recovered after deletion, corruption or unexpected failures.
You may request deletion of your account at any time.
Deletion requests may be subject to a reasonable delay before permanent removal to protect against accidental or fraudulent deletion.
A notification email may be sent when account deletion is requested.
Geekya may suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to:
Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may also be deleted after reasonable advance notice where practicable.
Community contributions described in Section 8 may remain after account deletion.
Collection and processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Some parts of the platform may make use of AI-assisted development tools or AI-generated assets.
Unless explicitly stated, user content is not submitted to third-party AI services as part of normal platform operation.
The platform is provided without warranties of any kind.
To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Geekya shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits or business opportunities arising from use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through appropriate means, such as email or notices on the platform.
Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction shall be the operator's place of residence.
