Insider Update 3.8.2.4 is now live. This update introduces Season 21’s new Season Pass, alongside expanded Custom Seas creation tools with Adventure treasure items and Firework Crates available through the Spawn Treasures menu.

Season Pass Rewards & Premium Tier
Progressing through the 50 levels of Renown in Season 21 will reward players with Doubloon Pouches, playable Voyages and a choice of cosmetic rewards previously available from the Pirate Emporium.
Pick up the latest Season Pass: Premium Tier to unlock boosted Renown progression, 1000 Ancient Coins and the Mutiny's Mark Ship Collection, including Collector’s Figurehead and Sails.
During this Insider build, Renown gained will be accelerated, making progression through the Season Pass quicker to facilitate testing.
Season Pass Unclaimed Rewards
When a Season ends, players with any unclaimed rewards from progressing through the Season Pass and Premium Tier will now find those items are claimed automatically.
In the case of Season Pass levels where there are multiple rewards to choose from, an unowned item will be claimed. If a player owns all three items, they will instead be awarded 150 Ancient Coins.
Command Improvements
Spawn Treasures – Players now have access to an ‘Adventures’ category, providing a range of Quest Items and treasure featured in past Sea of Thieves Adventures.
Spawn Treasures – Within Crates and Commodities, creators can now have access to a range of Fireworks Crates stocked full with an assortment of fireworks.
Layout Improvements
Season Pass
Season 21’s Star Prize is not yet available for Insider testing; players will currently still find the Greed's Reach Cutlass as a placeholder.
The Season welcome page still features images from Season 20.
The Season 20 tagline ‘Custom Seas’ is still visible on the home screen.
Gameplay
Looking through the Stargazer at Skeleton Camps will now keep your pirate at the correct size.
Reaper Fortress Vault Keys can now be collected reliably at Sailor’s Knot Stronghold, if dropped in foliage around the Fort.
The Smile and Wave Commendation now unlocks when completing the intended actions.
Custom Seas
Burning Blade skeleton crews now appear correctly after capturing the ship.
Rowboats can now be added correctly after changing ship type.
Six Galleons can now start a session in The Damned Sea Dog Tavern without any appearing upside down.
Layout saving now provides clear feedback when something prevents a save.
Environment
Players can no longer pass through the wall above the coffer spinner in the Temple beneath Picaroon Palms.
Walking beneath the stairs at Barnacle Cay or into corners within the Lagoon of Whispers puzzle room no longer launches players upwards.
Skeletons at the Fort of the Damned now remain above ground and continue encounters as intended.
Players can no longer climb unintended steep areas within the Temple beneath Barnacle Cay.
Gaps in the cave rocks at Lagoon of Whispers have been closed.
Players can no longer become trapped behind the statue at Lagoon of Whispers.
The eye of the Siren emblem now glows correctly in the Treasury of the Secret Wilds, the Treasury of the Lost Ancients and the Treasury of Sunken Shores.

Text and Localisation
Parley Pennant notifications now display the correct text.
Days and hours within Special Voyages are now localised correctly across supported languages.
Performance and Stability
