Insider Update 3.8.1.6 is now live with a new Bilge Rats Weekender and an introduction to the recently announced Live Event: Big Ship, Little Ship.

Big Ship, Little Ship Technical Test
To hear more about the introduction of this special Event, check out the latest Sea of Thieves Developer Update.
During this Event, crews setting sail on a solo or duo Sloop will now matchmake onto servers exclusively with other Sloops. Brigantine and Galleon crews will now also find themselves arriving on servers together.
Bilge Rats Weekender
Ahead of the Bilge Rats Weekender arriving in September, a brand-new Challenge awaits, with players earning Doubloons on completion.
This Weekender tasks pirates with a single Challenge that will require direct participation with other crews, so be prepared to go make some new friends!
Environment
Custom Seas
Safe Teleport does not trigger at The Seas of Sailor's Grave while in Fly mode or while using the Free Camera after approaching the edges of the Last Ship Standing battle area.
The Quick Command sound effects will play any time the player uses the Item and Quest Radial.
Gameplay
Players redeeming multiple purchased Merchant supplies should no longer find themselves becoming stuck when repeatedly interacting with the vendor.
Crews diving to Voyages should no longer collide with sea rocks when surfacing.
Custom Seas
Allied Order of Bone and Blade Skeletons should now remain grounded when revived onboard ships.
When adding a Rowboat to a newly spawned ship, the ‘Added Rowboat’ icon will now appear.
Quick Command sound effects should no longer play whenever a player docks to something.
Visual and Audio
Players no longer clip through the Sunlit Sepulchre Cannons when they climb into them.
Shirts with bigger collars and ties no longer clip through the Sunlit Sepulchre Jacket.
Items from Smouldering Pegasus Ship Collection should now display correctly at short distance.
