Insider Update 3.8.1.5 is now live. This update expands Custom Seas with new session controls and commands, introduces a Last Ship Standing Stress Test with rewards, and provides an early look at upcoming cosmetics and features.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Improved Switches
Custom Ship Supplies – Session owners now have access to fully customisable ship supplies, providing fine-grained control of which resources appear in ship barrels and how many of each item are available at the start of a session.
Unarmed Weapon Loadout – Players can now select ‘Unarmed’ as a weapon loadout override for primary or secondary weapon slots. This provides support for single-weapon or fully unarmed experiences.
Improved Commands
Rowboats – When spawning a Rowboat, players can now select from additional Rowboat types including Cannon, Harpoon and Reaper’s Bones Rowboats, which will be docked to the ship on arrival.
Rowboat Limits – The server limit for Rowboats has been increased to allow 24 Rowboats to be active during a session.
New Commands
Reset Supplies – This restores a ship’s barrels to their starting loadout.
Toggle Ship Invulnerability – This prevents all damage to the ship, including holes, flooding, fire and damage to ship parts.
Destroy Treasures – This removes all items on the ground within a large area around the player, including treasure, food, fish, Storage Crates, ammo and Gold Pouches.
