Insider Update 3.7.0.2 is now live. In this update, Insiders can experience the returning Legends Weekender with Athena’s quests and Doubloon rewards, alongside expanded Custom Seas tools including player permissions, on-demand world events, sandbox settings and a range of quality-of-life improvements.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Roster & Permissions
From the in-game command menu, Session Owners and Leaders now have the ability to manage players within the session, providing the same features currently found on the front end.
This in-game menu provides the ability to view all players, assign roles (Owner, Leader, Pirate) and customise permissions such as inviting or removing players, managing ships and crews, and accessing commands.

Within the Command Menu, the Spawn Enemies menu has been replaced with Spawn Creatures and has been expanded to include a range of animals.

Players can once again interact consistently with items, boxes and chests consistently after returning from the Ferry of the Damned.
Order of Bone and Blade Skeletons now correctly appear in a downed state if players leave the area or are defeated and return.
The Are You Even Trying?! Achievement now unlocks correctly when the requirements are met.
The Captain of the Vault will now appear at the intended frequency during Ashen Garrison encounters.
Ashen Search for Ancient Secrets Voyages now correctly include all intended islands when starting the Voyage.
Late-joining players can no longer interact with hanging points on a sunken ship.
A rock switch at King’s Chalice Garrison now behaves correctly, preventing players from bypassing the intended mechanism.
Custom Seas
Ship management tools such as repair and rowboat spawning now function consistently during a session
The Equipment menu now opens correctly after closing the Quick Command Menu.
Closing the Quick Command Menu now also closes the Quick Spawn menu as expected.
Restricted items can no longer be spawned in Custom Seas sessions.
The Quick Command Menu now remains visible when using the Quick Spawn menu with a keyboard.
Session owners and leaders now have the correct access to management tools.
Ship and Crew menus now refresh immediately after changes are made.
Ships no longer sink when all crew members are reassigned.
Crew size limits now display correctly in the Game Options menu.
Fast travel between ships now cancels correctly when interrupted.
The Edit Ships & Crews option is now accessible from the Permissions menu.
Players can now join Private Sandbox sessions without encountering errors after leaving another session.
Environment
Ships diving beneath the waves should no longer find they can collide with the surrounding environment while underwater.
Rampart surfaces at Ashen Garrisons now match their physical boundaries more closely.
Missing stonework near the Bonesmith Forge stairs has been restored.
Gate frames around King’s Chalice Garrison’s ramparts now have proper collision.
Visual and Audio
The Eternal Guard’s death animation is now seen consistently and cannot be interrupted.
The Bosun Brewmaster Wheel now appears consistently across distances.
The Midnight Prowler Pocket Watch now displays correctly.
Gaps on the title screen cinematic have been resolved.
Text and Localisation
Rock, Paper, Scissors Emotes now display the correct text in the radial menu.
Loading screen text for Season 19 now displays correctly across all languages.
The Fortune’s Favour Commendation description now shows the correct text.
