Insider Update 3.6.1.5 is now live. As we enter the hardening phase for February’s release, features seen in this Insider build will align with what will be released to the main game in our next Monthly Update. The long-awaited Ashen Garrisons have now arrived for Insider testing!

Ashen Garrisons
Flameheart’s forces have constructed two new Ashen Garrisons deep within The Devil’s Roar. Crews are tasked with assaulting these heavily fortified skeleton strongholds and crack open the treasury inside to reap the rewards inside.
Crews must navigate the perilous waters and scale the outer walls to begin their assault. Pirates must then battle across the ramparts, unlocking access to the Guardhouse before they can enter the central Garrison structure.
With the main door unlocked from within Guardhouse, crews must then battle through the waves of Flameheart’s forces defending the inner Garrison before dispatching the Custodian of the Treasury to unlock access to the Garrison’s Treasury and the riches held within.
Both Garrisons at Servant’s Oath and King’s Chalice have unique layouts, and crews can find new Ashen Order treasures held within lockboxes in each Garrison.
Crews can sail directly to assault these new Ashen Garrisons on the horizon, or begin a Raid Voyage for their chosen Trading Company from the Quest Table and dive on-demand to earn Company-specific rewards.
Act 3: Deeds & Rewards
Act 3 introduces new Adventures at Sea Commendations, challenging crews to take on the fearsome Ashen Garrisons. Completing these Commendations unlocks access to the Dark Skies Ship Set and Weapons, Forsaken Ashen Makeup, the ‘Ghostly Writer’ Painting and ‘Garrison Gatecrasher’ Title.
Crews completing Act 3’s Deeds can also earn the Ashen Garrison Sails to commemorate their feats.

If a server migration occurs during the Event, all doors and puzzles may reset, blocking progression.
Players may be unable to collect items such as keys or treasure from lockers or the bottom shelves of cupboards.
Players who remain inside the Treasury as it resets may become locked in place.
Gameplay
Further improvements have been made to how players attach to, release and climb ladders to address rare issues where players moved unintentionally slowly after getting onto a ladder.
Crews engaging with a player-controlled Burning Blade and losing repeatedly in quick succession should no longer find they are migrated away to a new server.
During natural server migration, ships are now brought to a stop when player controls are temporarily unavailable, reducing the chance of ships drifting into rocks or hazards out of the player’s control.
Players who are harpooned while attached to a ship’s cannon should no longer lose the ability to use weapons, items or access their radial menu and should once again regain full control once released from the harpoon.
Visual and Audio
Female pirates now hold all variations of the spyglass correctly, with hands properly aligned to the handle.
The Dark Skies Figurehead once again displays its visual effects when viewed from underwater.
The Fire Trap skull at Reaper Fortresses now keeps its glowing teeth visible, even when seen from a distance.

The Glassbeard pop-up notification now displays the correct text.
Season 18 Act 1 Deed completion pop-up notifications are now properly translated.
The Dark Skies Ship Set now shows correct localisation in all supported languages.
The Teal Resolute Ship Set now displays the correct localisation across all supported languages.
