Insider Patch Notes 3.2.3.3

Insider Update 3.2.3.3 is now live. Season 15 introduces new Commendations, updated Outpost cosmetics and bats to add atmosphere to the Sea of Thieves. Insiders can also test Community Weekend rewards and goals ahead of the celebrations.

Wild Seas

Commendations

  • A range of new Commendations have been added to the Reputation tab. Explore the challenges within the Hunter’s Call, Bilge Rats and Reaper’s Bones sections added in Sea of Thieves’ latest season.

Bats

  • As part of the Season 15 wildlife updates, bats now emerge from caves and dark areas when exploring or fleeing from danger, adding atmosphere and immersion to the world.

Insiders should check the feedback thread for specific Islands to visit to find these new creatures.

Wild Boar Balancing

  • Wallows have now been added to Crook’s Hollow, Crescent Isle, Discovery Ridge, Shark Bait Cove and the Sunken Grove.  

  • When exploring the Boar Wallows, treasures now appear much closer to the surface requiring much less digging before finding them.

Outpost Cosmetics

New Outpost Stock!

  • Fans of the Lucky Hand set can find the instruments now available at Outpost Equipment stores.

Season Eight Legacy Cosmetics

  • Cosmetics previously available during Season Eight have arrived in Outpost shops and can now be yours in exchange for Doubloons!

  • Players can now purchase the Cursed Bone clothing set, along with a range of unique one-off items first available during this Season. Pirate Legends can also pick up Flameheart’s Hat and Cutlass.

  • The time-limited Cursed Bone Flag, Sails, Makeup, Tattoo and Scar however, remain exclusive to players who participated in Season Eight.

Live Events

Community Weekend

  • In this Insider update, testing focuses on the upcoming Season 15 Community Weekend and Anniversary celebrations. Updates include finalised login rewards like the Season 15 Community Weekend Flag and Golden Sailor Hull. Community Spirit Goals also return with adjusted targets and improved reward distribution for easier completion.

Known Issues

Ancient Megalodon Voyage

  • The beacon currently does not appear during the Megalodon Hunt Voyage. 

Wild Seas

  • All Hunter's Call Captaincy Milestone rewards are currently unavailable.  

Anniversary Event

  • Some Community Spirit Goals may require the player to log in again to receive earned rewards.

Fixed Issues

Gameplay  

  • Throwing a trap in taverns will no longer prevent players from interacting with it or from switching to other equipment.  

Wild Boars

  • Boar Wallows now blend better with island sand.  

Ancient Megalodons

  • The Megalodon Hunt note now appears with finalised art, though placeholder text is still present.

  • The Black Powder Dart will no longer be extinguished when fired at the Barnacled Dread, ensuring the Dent in the Armour Commendation can now be progressed.

  • The Shrouded Spyglass is no longer stowed when pressing the secondary input button while not in use.  

Fishing Voyages

  • Completing Fishing Voyages now contributes towards increasing your Hunter's Call Emissary rank.  

  • Emergent threats will now appear on islands after completing or cancelling a Fishing Voyage.  

  • Hunter's Crate is now correctly tracked as an item sellable to Hunter's Call in Milestones.  

  • Treasured Fish are no longer incorrectly referred to as Ancient Fish in Pirate Milestones.  

Wild Seas

  • Missing Reaper's Bones Commendations for selling Hunter’s Call loot to the Reapers have been added. 

  • The Guild animated painting can now be placed in all painting trinket spots.  

  • The correct icon is now displayed when selling Hunter's Call Emissary Flags.  

  • The Grade 5 Pop-Up Toast for Hunter’s Call Emissary now includes an icon.  

  • Tier Titles for the Hunter’s Call Emissary Ledger are now present.  

  • The Rank 85 Trinket reward is now available in the Hunter’s Call shop. 

  • The hunting spear is now properly tracked as an item sellable to Hunter’s Call.  

Text and Localisation

  • The Royal Fortune Hat will now appear for sale at the correct price.  

Performance and Stability

  • 'The Lair of LeChuck' - Players will no longer experience a game closure when setting LeChuck on fire during this Tall Tale.

  • Improved server stability to avoid instances where players are disconnected from their session.
