Insider Patch Notes 3.0.2.7

Insider Update 3.0.2.7 is now live. Pop-Up Plunder returns for another round of testing, and this time the event features a new Community Crate.

Live Events

Pop-Up Plunder

• Pop-Up Plunder is back for another round of testing, this time introducing a new Community Crate. Community Crates work in the same way as Storage Crates, except when a Community Crate is empty it can be sold to the Merchant Alliance, Reaper’s Bones or Sovereigns. Insiders should test selling these Community Crates to other Trading Companies and report their findings on the dedicated feedback thread.

The Burning Blade

• The Burning Blade can currently travel to servers where another Burning Blade ship is already present.

Fixed Issues

Gameplay

• When purchasing Order of Souls Emissary promotions, the reward notification now correctly shows the text for the Burning Blade Ghost Ship.

Season 13 Rewards

• The Crew of the Burning Blade and Burning Vengeance achievements now unlock properly.

• The Flaming Foes Commendation now progresses correctly when performing the necessary actions.

• The Servant’s greeting line at The Reaper’s Hideout now correctly includes all text when the player is level 100 with The Reaper’s Bones and level 100 with the Servants of the Flame without a Ritual.

• The ‘Dark Hand of Fate’ Guild Ledger Trinket reward and the ‘Secrets of the Ancient Flame’ Guild Ledger painting reward can no longer be placed on your ship more than once.

• The ‘Secrets of the Ancient Flame’ Guild Ledger painting no longer merges into multiple Trinket spots.

• The Hot Shot Title unlock description now displays correctly.

• The Title, unlock description and display title for Loyalist of the Flame and Defender of the Pirate’s Life Commendations are now correct.

• The Defender of the Pirate’s Life Commendation now unlocks after completing the other required Commendations.

The Burning Blade

• While crewing the Burning Blade, players’ Pirate Milestones will now progress correctly and Ship Milestones will be paused until players return to their ship.

• All ropes visible on the Burning Blade now appear with metal rings, knots and pulleys.

• Items and pets can no longer be placed in the air above the Map Table on the Burning Blade.

• Tutorial prompts for pledging to the Burning Blade will now display correctly.

• Returning the Burning Blade to Flameheart now grants a reward even if no Rituals were completed while Captaining the ship.

• Items in the Captain’s cabin on the Burning Blade now display correctly without popping in and out.

• Sail billow is now visible when the wind blows into them at full speed, and the sails on the Burning Blade now make a sound when full billow is achieved.

• Players can no longer merge into a barrel on board the Burning Blade and be thrown outside the ship.

• Skeletons no longer push each other into walls and through objects in the Captain’s cabin.

• Tutorial prompts for using the Ashen Roar now display correctly.

• The right side of the stairs on the Burning Blade now appears correctly.

• Music now plays when pledging the crew to the Burning Blade and when “Burning Blade defeated” and “Burning Blade returned to Flameheart” banners appear.

• Ship hit audio sting volume is now balanced with other game sounds.

• The tribute pop-up notification now displays the correct text.

• The ropes with pulleys at the front of the Burning Blade now appear to be stable.

• The gap at the top of the stairs leading down to the middle deck is now closed.

• When sitting in the Captain's chair, players’ arms no longer appear to float.

• Returning to the Burning Blade after leaving its area no longer causes the ship sinking audio to replay.

• Sail ropes no longer appear to merge with the cannons at the back of the ship.

• Approaching the interior of The Reaper’s Hideout no longer causes Flameheart’s detail level to change multiple times.

Skeleton Camps

• Environment passes have been made across all Skeleton Camp locations to reduce scenarios where items were incorrectly placed, or players were able to get into areas they shouldn’t or break out of the environment entirely. Further fixes are still being worked on by the team across these locations as they improve quality ahead of Season 13’s launch build.

• Players will no longer be able to dive to a Skeleton Camp already in progress by another crew.

• The puzzle room ceiling projection at Lagoon of Whispers is no longer visible on ships parked above.

• Spinners at Skeleton Camps will now reset when the room resets.

• Players will now receive the correct pop-up notifications when stepping into a camp for the first time.

• Camp braziers are now put out when the camp is complete.

Obsidian Ashen Winds Skull

• The jaw of the Obsidian Ashen Winds Skull now moves correctly when attacking.

The Blade of Souls

• Selling the Blade of Souls with one Ritual completed now provides the correct amount of gold and experience.

Visual and Audio

• Players on Xbox will now see visual effects displayed correctly, including flames, glowing treasure and lantern lights.

• The day number on the Fates of Fortune Pocket Watch now updates correctly.

• When wielding a pocket watch, players will now flick the watch open.

• Players’ hands will now appear to hold the fishing reel correctly during the Hook, Line, Sinker Emote.

• Grass no longer appears to merge with books and the broken Rowboat at Sanctuary Outpost.

• The colour of the Frozen Horizon Frigid Hair tips is now maintained when a headband is equipped.

• Final artwork is now in place for notifications shown while progressing through Season 13 features.

• ‘The Lair of LeChuck’ – The skull Guybrush finds in the catacombs now sits in his hands while animating.

Text and Localisation

• The Season 13 title screen now displays the correct season number.
