Insider Patch Notes 2.8.5.9
Insider Update 2.8.5.9 is now live. In our last stabilisation build before the September release, Insiders can explore the Sea of Thieves and try out the new items and cosmetics that will be hitting the shops in the main game soon!

The Legend of Monkey Island
‘The Lair of LeChuck’
- The Third Legend of Monkey Island Tall Tale. The Lair of LeChuck, has been removed from this build while the team does some more work to polish it before release. Insiders will no longer have access to the third Tall Tale in this Insider build.
Accessibility
Weapon Accessibility Improvements
- Players will now hear a small click when firing their last bullet, letting them know it’s time to reload. This sound will only be audible to the player.
Fixed Issues
*‘The Quest for Guybrush’ *
- Captain Smirk no longer continuously walks into the training puppet when walking over to turn it on.
- Stan and Captain Smirk will now follow players around within their location spots.
- Ferry of the Damned cosmetics will no longer emit a bright light when near one of Corina's Portals.
*Gameplay *
- Players are now able to collect cargo crates from the Merchant Alliance whilst being part of a Grade 5 Emissary without issue.
