Insider Patch Notes 2.8.2.5
Insider Update 2.8.2.5 is now live. Insiders still have the chance to experience some of our upcoming Season Ten features in the form of customising their Guild and inviting others to join in the fun. Let us know all about your adventures and experience being part of a Guild in the dedicated forums.

Known Issues
*Guilds of Gold *
- This is a very early preview of this feature set at the moment and therefore may still contain placeholder text or imagery.
- Players may receive an error message when attempting to join a Guild session that is in progress.
- Guild permissions currently are not working as intended and may not update for certain players.
- Captain's Logbooks on Sloops and Brigs are missing the first 2 pages.
- Players will currently see a blank emote radial when trying to access any of the Guild emotes which they will not have at this moment in time.
*Video Playback *
- Series X & Series S – Players may see and experience duplicated frames whilst watching videos in the ‘What's New’ section of the game's menu.
*Quick Switching *
- Players are currently still able to cancel the weapon wield animation in a number of edge case scenarios in order to fire two ranged weapons faster than intended.
Fixed Issues
*‘Guilds of Gold’ *
- When setting sail on another Guild member's ship, the Announcement Banners now show the name of the Captain.
*Performance and Stability *
- Players will no longer become stuck on infinite loading screen after leaving the game.
- Steam players encountering a file corruption issue will now be shown an error message on launch rather than become stuck in a loop.
