# Insider Patch Notes 2.7.3.4

Insider Update 2.7.3.4 is now live. The Pirate emporium has been restocked ready for players to peruse and try out some new cosmetics. Stalk the seas with menace as you adorn your ship with cosmetics inspired by the mythic sea serpent along with your Golden Cursed Barbary, what could go wrong?

## Live Events

**Marauders Medley Event**

* Insiders are provided with a sneak peek at an upcoming event, foreshadowing our Anniversary Celebrations. This Marauders Medley event will run for ten days when active in retail. 
* For the purpose of Insider testing, we have shortened the duration to 5 days. 
* Days 1 will reward pirates for taking on Skeleton Ships, Days 2 will focus on Fishing, Days 3 will focus on Tall Tales. Players in Days 4 will explore the Sunken Kingdom before the final phase on Days 5 directing crews to a Sea Fort Encounter.

## World Events

**Skeleton Fleets**

* Skeleton Fleet Battles will now scale in difficulty for multiple crews.

**Skeleton Fort Balancing**

* More Barrels containing food have been added to Kraken Watchtower and Sailors Knot stronghold forts to give players more chances to restock. 
* Reapers Gifts can now be discovered in the vaults of a Fort of Fortune.

## Pirate Emporium

**Sea Serpent Ship Set **

* Adorn your ship with trophies of your most exciting hunts with the Sea Serpent Ship Bundle. Excludes Collector's variants. 
* For those just looking for bare necessities, the essential Sea Serpent ship set will be available for purchase as well.

**Sea Serpent Costume**

* This outfit borrows not only the protective scales of a fearsome beast of the seas, but its waterproof nature too. 
* Prepare for future battles and familiarise yourself with your harpoon using this kata while performing the Sea Serpent costume emote.

**Sea Serpent Weapons Bundle **

* Pick up the weapons of a true hunter, crafted from the scales of the very beasts you seek to destroy. 
* Included in this bundle is the Sea Serpent Eye of Reach, Blunderbuss, Pistol and Cutlass.

**Sea Serpent Lantern **

* Light your way with a flame stolen from the maw of an ancient beast.

**Lodestar Ship’s Crest**

* Set your ship's name among the stars with a crest that embraces the night sky.

**Gold Curse Barbary**

* Even the most intelligent monkeys aren't immune to the irresistible lure of cursed gold.

**Enigmatic Emote Bundle**

* A range of gestures suited to pirates of a more retiring, mysterious nature.

**Hearing Things Freebie Emote**

* No, you joker, I don't hear anything suspicious because THERE'S NOTHING HERE. Or... or is there?

## Season Nine

**Seasonal Progression**

* Season Nine offers a refreshed progression path with Trials, Deeds and renown actions for new and experienced pirates alike. Weekly, monthly, and Seasonal goals all reward players for exploring the Sea of Thieves.

## Updates

**New Golden Sands Photo Wall **

* Strike a pose and then take your picture against this lovely backdrop based Central of the Island near the beer garden. Just don’t forget to take the lens cap off.

**Video Playback**

* Pirates will find the Front End menu once again supports the ability to display video content for another round of insiders testing. For this Insiders test, after logging in, players will be shown the Season Eight Trailer instead of the usual Animatic along with the ability to skip. 
* Players can also browse the What’s New section to rewatch these videos on demand.

## Known Issues

**Reapers Outpost Representative**

* The caged skeleton on various outposts is currently not rewarding players with company reputation or Allegiance when handing in Emissary flags.

**Pirate Emporium**

* New items within the Pirate Emporium currently may contain placeholder names and imagery.

**Seasonal Progression**

* The new seasonal trials and deeds for Season Nine currently use the Season Eight set of rewards.

**What’s New Videos**

* The video within the What’s New section may freeze or display a black screen when watching.

## Fixed Issues

**Gameplay**

* The Phantoms' charging attack will now have a smaller attack range, preventing players from taking damage when successfully dodging the attack. 
* Emissary Flags now grant Allegiance when sold to the Mysterious Stranger.
* Items harpooned on to the lift at Ancient Spire Outpost will no longer be placed on top of the lift when it is lowered.

**World Events**

* Lit lanterns at the fort of the Damned will no longer migrate with every Player on the server. 
* The captains summoned by Greymarrow when taking part in a Fort of the Damned now have names. 
* Shipwrecks near to a Skeleton Fleet Encounter no longer prevent Ships from rising from beneath the waves. 
* Fire damage dealt by players will now scale depending on how many players are taking part in the skeleton fort.

**Voyages**

* The new Pirate Legend voyages now appear in the Athena Fortune Voyage shop. 
* The Captain's Voyage Name and Bundle Name for Black Powder Stashes within the Shipwrights shop has now been updated. 
* The Voyage title for the Skull of Destiny and Black Powder Stashes Voyage now appear correctly in the bookshelf, voyage proposal and the voyage card. 
* The Cursed Chest voyage has been updated to use its final text.

**Captains of Adventure**

* A Ruined Captain’s Logbook now shows any Events Log pages also ruined. 
* Icons within the Events log will now appear as intended. 
* A Captain's logbook recovered from the sea now displays the correct number of days the ship had sailed for.

**New Golden Sands **

* When players appear in the Tavern, they should no longer find themselves floating. 
* Players will no longer be transported to a safe location after sitting on certain benches in the tavern.

**Visual and Audio**

* When players rebind Secondary interact and primary interact and sit, they will now be able to use the third person perspective camera. 
* The beacon for the Reapers Chest will no longer flicker and will stay over the ship whilst the chest is onboard. 
* Skeleton Orders will now appear visually attached after being harpooned. 
* To prevent graphical issues pets can no longer sleep on the ships bed.

**Text and Localisation**

* Adelrick’s dialogue options have now been shortened. 
* A spelling mistake has been corrected that appear in a prompt after players finish the Cursed Rogue Tall Tale.

**Performance and Stability**

* Improved server stability to avoid instances where players are disconnected from their session. 
* Players will no longer experience being kicked out of the game after selecting a video to play within the what’s new section.
