Insider Patch Notes 2.7.3.2
Insider Update 2.7.3.2 is now live. Gather up your crew or go it alone, either is now possible with the balancing changes we have now made to certain world events. Have a go at these encounters let us know did it challenge you beyond the max or were those skellies easy pickings.

World Events
Pirate crews of all shapes and sizes will now find the range of world events now adapt to the size of the crew, making things easier for that lone wolf crew of one and harder for the crew of four who loves a challenge. To aid with the testing of these changes only these world events will currently be available within this Insiders build along with the Fort of the Damned.
Ashen Lord Rebalance
- Crews will now find the skeletons summoned during the Ashen Lord encounter dynamically scale to the number of players taking part. The number of skeletons, their health and even their behaviour now reflects the size of the attacking pirate force.
Crews facing off against the Ashen Lord will now find he is of suitable difficulty, ensuring that solo pirates and alliance crews alike can enjoy this thrilling encounter.
Throughout the Ashen Lord encounter, resources are now much more plentiful, and Weapon Chests have been added allowing players to switch their loadout for the battle!
Fort of Fortune
- Crews will now find the skeletons summoned, which can be a variety of different types during the Fort of Fortune encounter will dynamically scale to the number of players taking part. The number of skeletons, their health and even their behaviour now reflects the size of the attacking pirate force.
- Crews facing off against the Ashen Lord will now find he is of suitable difficulty, ensuring that solo pirates and alliance crews alike can enjoy this thrilling encounter.
- Throughout the Ashen Lord encounter, resources are now much more plentiful and ammo Chests have been added allowing players to be fully loaded at all times!
Ammo Boxes
- Additional ammo boxes have been added to each Skeleton Fort around their main building to ensure players are fully stocked at all times.
Updates
Scuttling Your Ship
- Following Insiders feedback, Crews wishing to scuttle their ship will now be presented with two options. Crews can ‘Scuttle their Ship and change seas’ which will move them to a fresh server away from their potential threats, or choose the original ‘Scuttle Ship’ option which destroys their vessel while keeping them in the server.
Captain's Journals
- Captain's Logs that are found from sunken ships can now be stored to chests and mermaid statues for safe keeping.
Known Issues
Events Log
- When players migrate there is a chance that their Captains Log or Events log may stop updating with activities the crew performs.
Fort of Fortune
- Currently the Ashen Lord found during the encounter does not use their fire rock throw attacks.
Fort of the Damned
- If players defeat all skeletons whilst one or two captains are still alive, the next wave will start early.
Fixed Issues
Gameplay
- Players can no longer place items on the Ship’s Capstan, any item attempted to be placed here will instead be dropped on the deck.
Voyages
- On Steam, the tutorial notification that appears after digging up the skull of destiny now stays on screen long enough for players to read it.
Pirate Emporium
Visual and Audio
- When performing a cutlass 3-hit combo, the defending pirate will now only visually react to 3 strikes whether those are blocked or successful strikes.
Text and Localisation
Tina the barmaid at the New Golden Sands outpost is no longer missing a dialogue option.
Teri the barmaid at the Dagger Tooth outpost is no longer missing a dialogue option.
The "Place Trinket" prompt is now translated in all non-English languages.
