Insider Update 2.7.2.8 is now live. In our final update before our February release players can enjoy a range of activities, quests and voyages, the sea is calling for adventure, will you answer it? In the meantime, whilst players are off gallivanting taking part in lots of fun piratey things the team will be continuing to work on the listed known issues ahead of our next release.

Gameplay
• Resource Crates placed on the main deck of the ship will no longer be lost when travelling through the Tunnels of the Damned.
• Exclusive Athena's items from Legend of the Veil voyage will now progress the 'Hider of Legendary Secrets' Commendation.
• The barrels in the Throne Rooms during Shores of Gold Tall Tales now only contain fruit.
• Pondies will no longer appear in the lower level of Sea Forts.
Battle for the Sea of Thieves
• Dying when diving below the waves to invade another crew will no longer cause the Battle to fail for both crews.
• Resource crates placed on boat's boundary when diving below the waves will no longer be removed from ship.
• The ‘Quite the Collection’ and ‘Souvenir’ Commendations now displays all requirements in the description of the commendation.
*New Golden Sands *• Players are no longer able to swim under the world and walk under water in a small area of the water surrounding the Athenas Hideout portal.
• Players will no longer be pushed off or moved around a lot when on the roof of the gold hoarders building.
• Player can no longer intersect their camera through multiple objects outside The Order of Souls building.
• The Gold Hoarders music will no longer be heard repeatedly when moving around the Gold Hoarder Building.
• Wooden Crates on top of the Gold Hoarder building will no longer appear to float.
• Players will no longer be teleported to safety when near the corners of the bridge archways.
• The Gold Hoarders Banner no longer displayed when moving around the building roof.
• Cricket sound effects no longer cut in and out when moving around the Gold Hoarders building roof.
• Canopy foliage no longer intersects through the Gold Hoarder building roof walls.
Pirate Emporium
• The Infinite Depths Iconography for the weapons set no longer only shows just the Pistol.
• Infinite Depths Weapon Pose Iconography no longer has a second figure poking into the frame.
*Environment *• Old Brinestone Fortress is once again now shooting cannons at ships on approach.
Visual and Audio
• The Pressure Plate sound effects will no longer be triggered when moving around a specific location in Athenas Hideout.
• Handing in an Emissary Flag to the Mysterious Stranger no longer gives players the Reaper themed music and notification.
• Sphere visual effect will no longer be present on Verdant Growth in Marauders Arch.
Performance and Stability
• Players arriving in the Athena’s Fortune Hideout should no longer experience extended black screen loading times or arrive in the Hideout with visual issues.
• Improved server stability to avoid instances where players are disconnected from their session.
