# Insider Patch Notes 2.6.2.4

Insider Update 2.6.2.4 is now live. Insiders are being granted an exciting opportunity to take part in our Sea of Bones Scale Test where they will be rewarded for taking part, just join a faction using your Hourglass of fate and unfurl your war map to dive into battle. The Pirate Emporium has also been restocked for players looking to add to their collection this spooky season.

## Sea of Bones

**Sea of Bones Scale Test**

* Today is the day! Gather your crew, sharpen your blades, and prepare to put your PvP skills to the test and in return you will be handsomely rewarded when Season Eight launches in retail!
* The scale test will be split into two sessions; 4pm-7pm (UTC) and 11pm-2am (UTC). To take part players simply join a faction of their choosing and unfurl their war map and dive into battle.
* Crews successful in battle during these scale test windows will earn one level of reputation in the represented faction per win, up to a cap of five wins on each faction. This reputation will be awarded to each player's main pirate in retail on the launch of Season Eight!

**Insider Pirate Wipe**

* As part of Insider update 2.6.2.4, all pirates have now been wiped to provide a clean testing slate following a rebalance to the Allegiance progression for both factions. Upon logging in, all Insiders will be required to create a new pirate.

*Players for this Insider's session will not be boosted to Pirate Legends and Champions of the Flame which will restrict their access to the hideout expansions and cutscenes.*

## Pirate Emporium

**Halloween Storefront **

* The Halloween Tab within the Pirate Emporium is back and restocked with all your favorite Halloween themed costumes, pets, emotes and weapon sets.

**Chosen Champion Bundle **

* Be ready for combat in this life or the next with the trappings of a timeless melee fighter, weapons that won't let you down and a drum to set the tempo of battle. The Chosen Champion Bundle contains the Graveyard Gladiator Costume, Weapon Bundle and Drum, along with 550 Ancient Coins to spend in the Pirate Emporium and a free bonus of 25,000 gold. Only available from the Microsoft Store upon release.

**Graveyard Gladiator Costume**

* In this costume players will not be just born for battle but reborn for it too, this undead champion will never stop seeking challengers.
* Whilst wearing this costume players can perform the Dust to Dust emote which will give your adversary a moment to understand that this will be the place where they fall.

**Graveyard Gladiator Ship Bundle **

* Carry your challenge far and wide in a great chariot of the seas. Excludes Collector's variants.
* Players who would prefer only the bare necessities of this ship will be able to purchase the Undead Gladiator Ship essential bundle**.**

**Graveyard Gladiator Drum**

* A battle drum passed down through generations of people who savour the sensation of hitting things.

**Graveyard Gladiator Weapons**

* Four weapons of a seasoned champion, each one a combination of battle tool and trophy.

**Spinal Costume**

* Pay tribute to a savage skeletal warrior from another place and time whilst wearing this costume. Well, technically more than one time.
* With this costume equipped players can perform the ‘Victory Cackle’ costume emote. The shrill, triumphant laugh that inspired a generation of scrappy skeletons.

**Evildoer Emote Bundle**

* Undertake or at least plan some pantomime villainy with this set of nefarious emotes.

**Juggling Pumpkins Freebie Emote**

* Beginner level: coconuts. Intermediate level: pumpkins. Advanced level: blunderbombs.

## Known Issues

**Sea of Bones**

* After migrating across servers some players will not receive faction progression during passive play. 
* Some players may experience instances where they become locked out of using the war map. As a workaround, if effected, players should leave the game and rejoin.
* Whilst engaging in an invasion on another crew, players may experience an extended black loading screen on arrival.
* Sometimes the Kraken follows players into the invasion tunnel and fills their screen with black water.

**Pirate Emporium**

* Some players may be unable to equip any of the Evildoer emotes from their vanity chest.
* All of the Evildoer emotes currently do not have an emote preview.
* The Graveyard Gladiator Eye of Reach is appearing as the Graveyard Gladiator Cutlass instead when looking at the bundle.

## Fixed Issues

**Gameplay**

* Handing Devil’s Roar Cargo Run Crates in time and perfect condition will now update the following commendations correctly: Merchant of forsaken silk, Merchant of Forsaken Flora and Merchant of Forsaken Rum.

**Sea of Bones**

* Pets can no longer walk through what appears to be an invisible floor over the elevator shaft in The Reaper’s Lair.
* The ‘Bring It On’ Commendation now unlocks when completing an Athena Voyage.
* Players will no longer hear water splashing in the ritual room from other players are moving around.
* The skeleton curse no longer uses the ghost curse as its icon.
* The ‘propose quest’ icon no longer pops up while in invasion tunnel when cancel matchmaking is available.
* Players can no longer collect water via their bucket from the gold pool within The Reaper’s Hideout expansion.
* Players should no longer see the prompt "Vote to battle" when leaving the invasion tunnel.
* Players observing the cutscene from a distance away will no longer hear loud audio effect noises drowning out the noise of the singing. 
* The ‘Streak’ icon will no longer exceed the maximum streak level which is four.
* Being in the cutscenes no longer progresses the ‘Minutes Spent Sitting’ milestone. 
* Players handing in their own Reaper emissary flag to the Mysterious Stranger no longer grants them more than one gold.
* The warning notification for diving into battle no longer has the wrong faction theming for Athena’s Fortune faction. 
* The emissary flag related Commendations' stats are now working as intended. 
* The costume tab in player’s cosmetic chests will no longer be visible when the player has the Skeleton Curse equipped.

**Captains of Adventure**

* The locked text for captain’s permissions is no longer different for Trinkets and Customisations.

**Environment**

* Players can no longer jump into the gap in the map and fall underneath that area.
* Loot no longer disappears when placing it on the Vault's entrance at Kraken Watchtower.

**Visual and Audio**

* A fired cannonball can no longer cause a stretched decal on a ship which doesn't show holes.

**Text and Localisation**

* The Seared Forsaken Ashes Eye of Reach no longer uses the incorrect name and description.
