Insider Update 2.5.1.2 is now live. The ‘Shrouded Deep’ Adventure and the Legend of the Veil Voyage have some seen some tweaking since your last update, so be sure to test them out and please head to the relevant feedback threads in the Insider Programme Hub to let us know how you find them.

‘Shrouded Deep’ Megalodon Balancing
‘Shrouded Deep’ Final Encounter
The ‘Graymarrow’s Orders’ final battle shortcut has now been removed. Crews must work together to collect four charged effigies on the Ritual Table and play the ‘Summon the Megalodon’ shanty with five players to begin the final encounter with the Shrouded Ghost.
Players will now begin to hear Belle and Merrick speak during the final battle. Further battle voice over will continue to arrive in future Insider’s updates.

‘Shrouded Deep’
Players having already completed the Shrouded Deep Adventure are now offered the ability to ‘Replay the Adventure’ from Belle.
When approaching cannons used for the Adventure, the interaction for loading the summoning flare should no longer flicker on and off.
Players can no longer unload a summoning flare from a cannon.
Approaching the Killer Whale now displays appropriate banners and audio.
Firing the summoning flares from an island cannon now plays the intended fuse audio effects.
After defeating the Shrouded Ghost, players joining the crew should no longer see the beacon in the sky form the final encounter.
The final battle now ends once the Shrouded Ghost is defeated and not when the beast finally sinks into the depths.
Kraken encounters can no longer occur around the Killer Whale.
Chapter complete banners now display when placing a charged effigy on the Ritual Table.
‘Item Received’ notifications no longer appear during the cutscene and will now appear afterwards.
Players now receive a notification when items have been removed from them.
All notes received from Belle now have ghostly glowing effects.
Legend of the Veil Voyage
Purchasing Rank 30 in Athena’s Fortune no longer locks players out from purchasing other Pirate Legend Voyages.
The ‘Master Banisher’ Commendation now has revised unlock criteria for each grade.
The pirate phrases when holding the Quest Book correctly identifies the Legend of the Veil as a Voyage and not a Tall Tale.
Players standing on the Veil of the Ancients while sailing should no longer stutter.

The intended Athena’s Fortune rewards are once again made available on destroying the Haunted Fort.
Players should no longer find missing geometry around the Haunted Fort structures.
Emergent threats should no longer occur shortly after defeating a Haunted Fort encounter.
Players should no longer experience a short stutter when approaching a Haunted Fort as the swirling tornado appears.
