# Insider Patch Notes 2.0.23.6

Insider Update 2.0.23.6 is now live! Check out the Events tab to see what Deeds are active and what Emissary to represent before visiting the Merchants to stock up on crates for your adventures. Grab the new Trident weapon and dive into the seas to discover a terrifying new enemy in the depths below!

## Sirens

Keep an ear out for their eerie song and prepare yourselves. For an update from our Creative Director, head to this

**Siren Balancing**

* Sirens should no longer move to a mid-range distance before firing ranged attacks to avoid them being too near or far from the player.
* The gem in the centre of each Siren’s chest showing their health now has improved visuals as the Siren Leaders now have an emerald gem.

**The Trident of Dark Tides**

* The timings for firing each size of bubble have been reworked, as players should now correctly fire the bubble size that they see without delay.

## Season Two

With new progression, rewards to earn, Trials to tackle and even a new Plunder Pass to purchase, there is plenty to sink your teeth into. For an overview of Season Two, head to this

**Fort of Fortune Balancing**

* When reaching the second to last wave of the encounter, two Skeleton Lords will now appear together to challenge crews.

**Fort of Fortune Rewards**

* The Fort of Fortune Vault has been restocked with a range of rewards to entice players to compete for its riches.
* Crews can earn Athena’s Fortune reputation from the Chest of Legend, Athena Kegs, Crates of Legendary Voyages, Athena Villainous Skulls and Guilded Athena relics.
* Stronghold rewards are stacked with Stronghold Kegs, Stronghold Skulls and Stronghold Chests.
* A range of bountiful rewards complete the Vault offering with Crates of Ancient Bone Dust, Crates of Spice, Captains Chests, Crates of Silk and Ruby Mermaid Gems.

**Emissary Trade Route Commendations**

* The Merchant Alliance Reputation Tab now houses new commendations for players engaging with Emissary Trade Routes and unlock the Merchant Hook and Merchant Eyepatch offered by Larinna.

**Fort of Fortune Commendations**

* The Order of Souls Reputation Tab holds new Commendations for crews storming the fabled Fort of Fortune.

**Emissary Trade Route Achievements**

* New Xbox and Steam achievements can be unlocked by progressing through the new in-game Commendations. A total of 20 Gamerscore is available to earn from this update, and these achievements will remain in the game indefinitely.
* Convenient Stores [20G]

**Season Two Trials**

* With the introduction of Merchant Emissary Trade Routes, a range of new Trials are now available to boost your progression through the Season. Trials of the Sea now contains ‘Apprentice Quartermaster’, ‘Experienced Trader’, ‘Experienced Haggler’ and ‘Seasoned Profiteer’ Trials. Trials of Combat also holds the ‘Infamous Reaper of Routes’.
* When the ominous call of the Fort of Fortune is heard, check the Trials of Combat for the ‘Infamous Fort Breaker’ and ‘Deadly Reaper of Forts’ Trials.

## Updates

**Lost Shipments**

* During a Lost Shipments Voyage, if a shipwreck is unable to be created for the Voyage for any reason, loot will now be spawned alongside the manifest floating in the water.

**Accessibility**

* When opening UI menus that overlap, the screen behind will now appear blurred to make the content easier to read.

**Season Two**

* Performing the Barrel disguise emote does not currently hide your gamertag for other players.

*Within Trials of Exploration, the following Trials are not currently able to be completed:*

* ‘Aspiring Diver’
* ‘Aspiring Pioneer’
* ‘Accomplished Reaper of Wrecks’
* ‘Accomplished Historian’

*Within Trials of Combat, the following Trials are not currently able to be completed:*

* ‘Deadly Reaper of Forts’

*Within Trials of the Sea, the following Trials are not currently able to be completed:*

* ‘Apprentice Quartermaster’

**Pirate Emporium**

* Equipping a Costume with a Costume Emote will not show the Emote in the radial.

* The final Ashen Lord currently does not drop an Ashen Skull.
* The Fort of Fortune Vault rewards will only spawn when completing the Fort on Hidden Spring Keep.

**Reapers VS the World**

* All phases are showing as “Event Ended” whilst they are all active.
* There is placeholder artwork and text for the Rewards in the Events Quick Menu.
* While the Reapers vs The World event is active, Larinna currently has no dialog pertaining to the Event.
* The “Ship of Fortune” Deed description is misleading.

**Localisation**

* Newly added text across multiple areas of Season Two are awaiting localization in Non-English languages. These will display English text until appropriate localisation is updated.
* There is currently placeholder text throughout the Outpost shop and vanity chests.
* When arriving at the Shroudbreaker Vault whilst not on the Shroudbreaker Tall Tale, a Vault Key will appear to be in the lock for players not on the Tall Tale with placeholder text.

**Emissary Ledgers**

* A player who is in the Top 10 Global Ledger will be present twice.

**Events**

* When attempting to access the Events page, players are met with a calm waters error message.

## Fixed Issues

**General**

* All clothing textures are now displaying correctly and not using a fallback greyscale texture.
* When receiving an Invite from another player on Steam, the invite notification no longer displays the player’s gamertag, but can still be found on the invite menu.

**Outpost Cosmetics**

* Gold Hoarder Weapons now available in the Outpost Weapon Store should no longer display the ‘Unlocked through Vault Raiders event’ description.
* Gold Hoarder Weapons should now be available for purchase from the Outpost shop by players on completing the Seeker of Ancient Vaults commendation.

**Sirens**

* The bubble wobble visual effect is now working so you will see the bubble do a wobble effect after each change in size.

**Seasons**

* The Dark Phoenix Flag now has an appropriate icon.
* All Season 2 Titles, Scar and Tattoo should now have final Icons.

**Pirate Emporium**

* The Dark Warsmith Cannon Flare should now be complete.
* The Dark Warsmith Hull on the Brigantine should no longer be missing any textures.
* There is now final artwork throughout the Pirate Emporium.

**Merchant Alliance Outpost Shop**

* There should now be final imagery and text within the Resources and Commodities store.

**Fort of Fortune**

* Players should no longer receive Hazelnutbeard when approaching a Legendary Fort that is activated for the second time.
* The Ashen Lord should now be the only Skeleton to drop a key for a Legendary Fort Vault.
