Insider Patch Notes 2.0.22.1
Insider Update 2.0.22.1 is now live! With February’s retail update now ready, this build returns to showcasing upcoming features. Deck your out pirate with new items from the Outpost shops before heading out to sink Skeleton Ships and earn loot, which will now be marked by seagulls circling.

Outpost Cosmetics
Dark Adventurers Clothing Set
- Pirate Legends can now purchase the Dark Adventurers clothing and vanity items from the Hideout Shop.
Green Kraken Set
- Players must obtain the Legendary Kraken Hunter Commendation to unlock access to this set which can be purchased from the Outpost shipwrights, clothing, equipment and weapon shops.
Distinguished Admiral Set
- The Outpost clothing shops now stock the Distinguished Admiral clothing set, available to purchase with gold.
Gameplay Improvements
Skeleton Ship Markers
- After sinking Skeleton fleets, the ship's loot will have a flock of seagulls circling above it to help players find the floating loot more easily.
Known Issues
Placeholder Items
- Placeholder names and descriptions can be found on a range of items in the Outpost stores in non-English languages.
Fixed Issues
General
- The Dark Adventurer Blunderbuss has an improved iron sight to aid with aiming down sights.
- Sea clues should no longer disappear after migrating server while on a Lost Shipments Voyage.
- Resetting options to default now also resets the "Set audio output to mono" option.
Festival of Fishing
- The Shores of Plenty Voyage should now complete instantly after completing the last map.
- The circles on circle maps should now be easier to locate on the maps.
Seasons
Discovering washed up treasure will now award Renown to the crew when picked up.
Discovering a washed up Collector’s Chest will now award Renown for the chest and any items inside.
When returning a Collector’s Chest with treasure inside back to your ship Renown will now be earned for the chest and any items inside.
Pirate Emporium
- Descriptions of pets in the Pirate Emporium should no longer be cut off.
Localisation
- Improved localisation for a range of character dialogue, Mysterious Notes and items in the Pirate Emporium.
- Order of Souls Bounty Quests will now display the correct Bounty target names in the players local language.
Tall Tales
- In the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, when unlocking the doors on Liar's Backbone and The Devil's Thirst, players should now be able to enter the caves.
