Insider Patch Notes 2.0.18.6
Insider Update 2.0.18.6 is now live! As we continue to work on our Fate of the Damned feature set, this Insider build contains some quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

Updates
Soulflame Cosmetics
- Following Insider feedback, the Soulflame Lantern, Soulflame Weapon Bundle, and Soulflame Captain and Crew Costume will no longer be delivered through the Pirate Emporium and have now been removed.
- These Lantern, Weapon and Costume cosmetics will now be awarded through game activities during the Fate of the Damned Update.
Ashen Lords Balancing
- Ashen Lords will now have reduced health.
- Cashing in an Ashen Winds skull is now worth 10K gold full and 4K gold empty, up from 5K gold full and 2K gold empty.
Commendations
- The Commendation counters shown on the reputation pages now more accurately represent the player's progress through a Trading Company.
Emergent Captains
- Captains, Key Masters and Guardians that appear emergently on islands have been reduced in difficulty.
Known Issues
Treasure Vault Voyages & Treasure Vaults
- The Devil's Roar Treasure Vault Voyages have been re-added into the Gold Hoarder’s shop at Morrows Peak, but some ‘X’ marks in The Devil’s Roar can be impossible to dig.
Pirate Emporium
- There is a range of placeholder imagery and text in the Pirate Emporium.
Skeleton Lord Commendations
- When defeating the Skeleton Lord in the final wave of a Skeleton Fort, the Commendations for defeating named Skeleton Lords do not track when they are killed by fire.
Mysterious Notes
- There are no animations shown when Mysterious Notes are swapped, only the texture changes.
Ashen Lords
- When killing an Ashen Lord, the Ashen Chest that is dropped is empty.
Treasure Chest Audio
- When digging up Treasure Chest there is no 'thump' sound.
Fixed Issues
General
- Figurehead icons for all figureheads have been updated.
- There is no longer a hole in the western rock outcrop on Shores of Gold.
- In the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, the lever in Stitcher Jim's Hideout now works repeatedly as intended.
Gold Hoarder Vaults
- If a Gold Hoarder Vault is active that Vault will no longer be selected for use in another crew’s Tall Tale.
Custom Servers
- Players should no longer be able to browse the store at North Star Seapost whilst on a Custom Server.
Commendations
- The "Legendary Skeleton Exploder" Commendation should now be visible to players in their Reputation Page under Gunpowder Skeletons in the Bilge Rats tab.
