# Insider Patch Notes 3.8.1.2

Insider Update 3.8.1.2 is now live. This update introduces a new Custom Seas Legendary Location, alongside quality-of-life improvements for the Free Camera and Faction Battles.

## Custom Seas

**Legendary Location - The Seas of Sailor’s Grave**

* Custom Seas sessions can now choose The Seas of Sailor’s Grave as a new Legendary Location, allowing crews to create and play within the Last Ship Standing battleground.

* The Devil’s Shroud surrounds the map, keeping crews focused on the action.

* Due to the unique nature of the location, some World Events and creature- and island-specific features will be unavailable.

**Free Camera**

* Free Camera settings are now saved between sessions, allowing players to retain their preferred configuration when closing and reopening the camera without needing to readjust the settings each time.

**Session Join Code Protection**

* When creating a Join Code for a custom session, session owners can now copy a code without revealing it to anyone potentially viewing their live stream.

* When entering a Join Code to access a custom session, the digits will now remain hidden to prevent the code being shared with others potentially viewing. The code can also be revealed and hidden at any time while being entered.

## Gameplay Improvements

**Faction Battle Repairs**

* Crews winning a Faction Battle will now find their ship becomes fully repaired as soon as the victor is declared, ensuring they can focus on collecting their rewards and moving on to the next battle.

**Custom Seas**

* Several instances of placeholder text are present in Spawn Menus.

## Fixed Issues

**Gameplay**

* Players can no longer duplicate the Hunting Spear by throwing it and loading into a cannon at the same time.

* Attempting to sell an Ashen Chest to the wrong vendor now shows the correct message directing players to the right one.

* Cargo Runs now track correctly within the Ship's Log.

**Custom Seas**

* Player rosters now display crews in the correct order.

* Session Permission switches now behave consistently with other settings.

* Fetcher’s Rest now displays the correct island artwork in World Settings.

* Spawn Treasure > Paintings now uses the correct preview artwork.

* Missing island icons have been restored across Custom Seas menus.

* Deed completion notifications now appear correctly when earned while using the Free Camera.

* Custom Seas menu text has been updated for improved clarity.

**Environment**

* Pets now stay correctly positioned in cannons when loading in and out at a distance.

**Visual and Audio**

* Lantern light, harpoon bolts and blowpipe darts no longer appear incorrectly in players’ hands while switching equipment.

* Distinction icons now appear correctly within the Progress menu.

**Accessibility**

* Controller navigation and menu interactions have been improved across affected screens.

* Screen reader narration within Crew Management screens now behaves correctly.

**Text and Localisation**

* Missing localisation and menu text updates have been applied across affected areas.

* Distinction and Reputation screens now display the correct information.

**Performance and Stability**

* Improvements have been made to game stability to reduce scenarios where players unexpectedly exit the game or become disconnected from their session.
