Insider Update 3.6.1.3 is now live. Insiders can now test further improvements made to Faction Battles and can continue to try out upcoming features for Season 18 and beyond.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Automatically Raising Emissary Flag
Crews entering a Faction Battle using the Hourglass of Fate will now have an Emissary Flag raised automatically on behalf of their Faction, reducing the time needed to prepare for battle at the start of a session or following a loss.
In addition, this ensures crews gain Emissary Grade progression from all Faction Battle wins and a guaranteed Broken Emissary Flag as a reward upon victory.
Crews representing the Guardians of Fortune will have their Emissary raised for Athena’s Fortune, while representing the Servants of Flame will raise a flag for the Reaper’s Bones.
Crews who do not own an Emissary Flag for their Faction will not have an Emissary Flag raised.
Faction Battle Supply Crates
Following Insider feedback, further improvements have been made to increase the number of Cannonballs, Chainshots, Scattershots, Firebombs and Blunderbombs provided in Faction Supply Crates across each ship type. In addition, the minimum thresholds for each resource have been increased. For specific numbers, head to the Feedback Thread.
The location of Faction Supply Crates has now been moved next to the mast for ease of access.
