Insider Update 3.6.0.2 is now live. In this build, players can test the new Molten Sands Event for Season 18 Act 2 by embarking on an Emissary Quest to defeat an Eternal Guard and obtain the Molten Sands Key.

Crews recovering Banished Treasures while exploring the Devil’s Roar will now find that trading company specific treasure provides the correct Emissary Grade Progression for the intended Trading Company.
Pirates killed during the Eternal Guard’s Dying Breath should no longer find that on their return the sarcophagus ritual can be restarted.
Players can now once again start the Ashen Followers of the Flame and Ashen Search for Ancient Secrets Reapers Bones voyages from the Quest Table.
Molten Sands Event
Fetcher’s Rest will now only ever have one Eternal Guard active at a time.
The Eternal Guard’s name now appears correctly in subtitles during the voyage version of the event.
Emissary quest notes for the Molten Sands Event now use the same font as other voyage notes.
Players now stand correctly on the altar, rather than hovering slightly above it.
Event banners now display their final artwork at the start of the Molten Sands Event.
The voyage note now correctly labels the sarcophagus with “Guard” instead of a question mark.
The Eternal Guard banner now shows its name in the correct position when the voyage begins.
Completing the Emissary voyage now displays a “Voyage Complete” banner after defeating the Eternal Guard.
Environment
‘Sunken Pearl’ - Players should now find they are consistently lifted by geysers during the Tall Tale and can actively progress through the area.
Ancient Sanctuaries on Cinder Islet now prevent players from seeing beneath the game's map.
Visual and Audio
The Castaway seen at her camp on Outposts now displays correctly at different distances.
The Tundra Wanderer Grapple Gun now stays clear of the camera when aiming and firing with an increased field of view.
Rising water visuals now display the correct surface effects.
Frame borders in the Pirate Emporium grid now display correctly across all bundle tiles.
The lift chains in the Reaper’s Hideout now display at the correct quality.
