Insider Update 3.5.1.8 is now live. This is the final Insider build of the hardening phase for our October release before we return to previewing features for future updates.
While this is the last Insider build focused on October’s update, the below listed Known Issues will continue to be worked on by the team ahead of launch.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Chest of Fortune
Reaper Fortress Mega Stashes
For the duration of Act 3, Reaper Fortresses will have the chance for their Vaults to be boosted by a Mega Stash, replacing the contents of the Vault with an immense treasure pile of significantly higher value rewards.
Both emergent Reaper Fortresses and on-demand Athena’s Fortune Raid Voyages can result in a Mega Stash. However, the chance of encountering this boost is much higher when encountering an emergent Reaper Fortress in the world.
Reaper Fortresses taken on in Safer Seas always provide the same treasure and will not be boosted by a Mega Stash.
Royal Crest Fortress
Players are currently prevented from opening the Treasury door as it requires a Stronghold Key rather than the intended Fortress Treasury Key.
The hatches inside the Fortress can be opened even when they’re boarded over.
‘The Legend of Monkey Island’
Reaper Fortresses
Audio improvements have been made to the encounters with Dark Brethren Ghost Ships circling the Reaper Fortress.
The imagery shown in the Season Overview for Act 3 now uses the latest artwork.
