Insider Update 3.5.0.4 is now live. Insiders can now test out the upcoming cosmetics that will be appearing in Outpost Stores in our next update.

Act 2: Smugglers’ Heist of Royal Crest Fortress
If players have not performed relevant actions in a while, then a wave of skeletons including a Skeleton Captain who drops a Stronghold Key will appear inside of the Fortress to prevent crews from blocking the Heist by removing Stronghold Keys from the island.
Players will now find the Servant of the Flame’s Journal inside of Royal Crest Fortress, which they can interact with to progress the Reaper’s Revelations Commendation.
New Outpost Cosmetics – Now in Stock!
The Outpost shops now stock the Lucky Rover equipment and instruments.
The Shipwrights have restocked and now offer the new Russet Resolute Hull, Sails and Flag.
Athena’s Fortune Cosmetics
The Weaponsmith in the Athena’s Fortune Hideout now stocks the Legendary Fortune Double Barrel Pistol, Blowpipe, Grapple Gun, Heavy Sword, Rapier and Throwing Knives. These weapons are all available for purchase upon reaching Pirate Legend status and completing the relevant Commendations.
Players who previously purchased the Legendary Throwing Knives, Heavy Sword and Rapier from the Athena’s Fortune Hideout will now find these have been replaced in their Armoury with the corrected Legendary Fortune colour scheme.
Cinematic Banner Improvements
The Cinematic Banners shown on the HUD have now been extended to provide support for a more reduced banner option that retains visibility of the player’s health and ammunition during gameplay.
Players can navigate to the HUD Settings and switch between Full (default) or Reduced Lower Banner Style.
Ship’s Crest Tab
Smugglers’ Heist
Migrating to a different server before opening the Fortress can advance the Voyage to a later stage and break its flow.
Players may be teleported back to their ship after entering Royal Crest Fortress.
The door may not always open after using the key to unlock it.
Placing the target painting at the top of the crow’s nest on a Brigantine or Galleon will stop Ocean Crawlers spawning on the ship’s deck.
Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage
Gameplay
The Skull of Siren Sorrow now sinks after the correct amount of time after being left floating on the sea.
Phantoms now appear as intended when starting a Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage while already on the pickup island.
Field of View will no longer reset to a maximum of 90 between sessions.
Smugglers’ Heist
Delivery Notes now display the correct target painting name instead of placeholder text.
Mechanisms within the Fort now reset properly when the Fort state changes to closed.
Players who join a Smugglers’ Heist during its final stages can now successfully hand in the target painting.
Players will now see the Deeds relating to Skeleton Captains and completing the Voyage correctly ticking up in the Seasonal tab.
Players will correctly receive the ‘Quests Received’ toast during the Voyage.
The Voyage now correctly ends with ‘Heist Complete’ and ‘Heist Defeat’ banners rather than a toast.
Players who circumvent Royal Crest Fortress’ geometry to get inside of the Fort early will find themselves teleported out until the key reaches the Fortress.
Separated the safe teleport volumes for the Storeroom and the main Fortress so that these volumes can stay in place for a longer time.
Players can no longer deploy a Cannon of Rage next to the roof cage and launch themselves through the new geometry.

Visual and Audio
Incorrect visual effects no longer appear in front of the Sweet Treat Capstan while sailing.
The correct notification now displays when either players or skeletons discover buried treasure during a Followers of the Flame Voyage.
