Updates

Performance Improvements

  • This update includes a system level optimisation to CPU performance across the broad experience, to reduce the frequency of framerate drops and provide a smoother framerate during gameplay.

Known Issues

Grapple Gun

  • Grappling a Message in a Bottle onto a boat, through the side windows, results in players being unable to board their boat and forces them to quit the session.

Followers of the Flame Voyage

  • Some skeletons do not animate correctly during the chest sealing sequence.

  • The red ring effect can continue pulsing even after players have lowered the lantern.

Pirate Emporium

  • The Bosun Brewmaster Ship’s Crest and Capstan are currently jittering when players view these items from a distance.

Fixed Issues

Gameplay

  • Improvements to the Ashen Executive's Lost Shipment Voyage, addressing issues where the location of the shipwreck, Captain’s Key and Ship Manifest were appearing inconsistently during the Voyage, halting progress.

Black Powder Barrel

  • Underwater explosions from Black Powder Barrels now show the correct visual effects.

  • Black Powder Barrels found in the weapon cache at a Reaper’s Fortress can now be damaged properly.

Enhanced Reaper’s Chest

  • Improved game stability when migrating across servers with unsealed Reaper’s Chests.

  • Skeletons emerging from Reaper’s Chests will now show their nameplates correctly.

Followers of the Flame Voyage

  • The revive tooltip for skeletons during the Followers of the Flame Voyage now shows the correct wording.

  • Ancient Phantom waves now appear at a pace more manageable for crews of two or more.

Cannon of Rage

  • Players will now be properly removed from the Cannon of Rage if it is retracted while someone is inside.

  • A damaged Cannon of Rage will now visibly swell while overheating, even after being retracted.

  • Cannons of Rage now consistently display the fuse after being buried and dug up.

  • The cannon barrel now sits neatly on its base without intersecting.

Environment

  • 'A Pirate's Life' - Ghost pirates now appear as intended at key parts of the Tale.

  • 'The Revenge of the Morningstar' - Items dropped on Graymarrow’s Altar during this Tale will no longer vanish unexpectedly.

Visual and Audio

  • Players navigating between the title screen and front end menu should now hear a consistent music volume.

  • Players carrying Mermaid Gems in various lighting conditions will now find their glare has been reduced.

  • Event times on the Quest Table are now shown in the player’s local time instead of UTC.

  • Firing cannons with the Oyster’s Prize Cannon Flare equipped no longer causes frame rate drops.

  • The Bosun Brewmaster Collector’s Sails now show the correct preview image.

  • Various Rising Morningstar items from Twitch Drops now display the right icons in players’ inventories.

Text and Localisation

  • The Korean description of the Reaper Rivals Commendation now includes the word “stolen” as intended.

  • The ‘Bronze Pondie’ has been correctly translated into Russian.
