Insider Update 3.4.0.3 is now live. In this update, Insiders can test further changes to upcoming features of Season 16 and its cosmetics, as well as changes to the Skull of Siren Song Voyage.
As always, if you encounter any bugs, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.
Followers of the Flame Voyage
The lantern gameplay has been improved, providing clearer instructions to players on which direction to head.
Ancient Phantoms will now spawn to attack during the final phase of the Voyage, however will retire once the crew begin raising the chest.
Improvements have been made to skeleton behaviour when moving between objectives on the Voyage, and skeletons will now thank the crew when resurrected.
Each skeleton should now dig up their correct final item and these items should now award the correct amount of gold and reputation when handed in.
Each skeleton that is used in the ritual and as part of the Voyage now has a unique name, ensuring it’s clear which are needed to end the Voyage.
Skull of Siren Song
While there is no player-facing change in this build, Insiders are encouraged to join the Voyage between Wednesday 28th, 10am (UTC) and Friday 30th, 10am (UTC) to ensure the experience remains stable.
Reaper’s Chest
The Reaper’s Chest and any summoned Order of Bone and Blade Skeletons will not migrate across servers with the crew.
Order of Bone and Blade Skeletons spawning on a ship will appear with a range of visual issues and inconsistencies.
The red pips on the Reaper’s Chest do not currently visually represent how many charges the chest has remaining.
Players are blocked from opening a new Reaper's Chest if they change servers without the original chest.
Followers of the Flame
The controller vibrations that happen alongside the lantern’s visual effects are not currently in sync with each other.
Skeletons from the created chest can die from a geyser next to rocks and are unable to be revived, blocking Voyage progression.
Cannon of Rage
Followers of the Flame
Crews on a server will no longer find that they can all have their Followers of the Flame Voyages start on the same island.
The map now uses an alternate font to improve legibility.
Skeletons should now despawn properly if the Voyage is cancelled or completed.
