Insider Update 3.2.1.7 is now live. This is the final Insider build of the hardening phase for our December release before we return to previewing features for future updates.
While this is the last Insider build is focused on December’s update, the below listed Known Issues will continue to be worked on by the team ahead of launch.
As always, if you encounter any bugs, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.
Mimic Dart
Skeleton Lords do not currently attack mimicked players.
When mimicking a target that displays visual effects, such as a Ghost Curse Pirate or a Shadow Skeleton, attempting to use a disguise will result in the visual effects still being visible.
While mimicking a target, players are not consistently shown the simple set of emotes and can sometimes access their existing emotes, causing them to not function correctly.
Players mimicking a target may appear incorrectly when viewed from far away.
A player who is mimicking another may still appear incorrectly to players who join a session after the effect has begun.
Pirates of Mischief
Traps
While wearing a disguise, stepping onto a trap loaded with a Jigball or Wearyball will cause the player’s animations to appear incorrectly until the effect wears off.
Attempting to deploy a trap after migrating across servers can cause the player to be unable to use items via the Item Radial or to wield their weapons.
Players sprinting into a Blunderbomb-armed trap will be instantly killed instead of taking the appropriate damage.
Grapple Gun
Hanging from Ledges
Gameplay
Grabbing treasure with the Grapple Gun will now only use a single arrowhead.
Players are once again able to extinguish a Black Powder Dart with a bucket of water.
Mimic Dart
Players should no longer appear as green skeletons once the effects of a Mimic Dart wear off in certain scenarios.
The Who's Who Commendation should now progress when performing the necessary criteria.
The Mimic Me Mimic You Commendation should now progress when performing the necessary criteria.
Skeletons will no longer attack a mimicked player if that player attacks an Ocean Crawler.
Players mimicking the Duchess or Two-Faced Scoundrel then attempting to use a disguise will now appear correctly inside their disguise.
Pirate Emporium
Visual and Audio
Gold Skeletons now appear correctly when they become wet and rusted.
Lure and Mimic Darts should now display at the correct brightness on an HDR enabled screen when loaded into the blowpipe.
