Insider Update 3.2.1.6 is now live. We are now in the hardening phase for our December release and these Insider builds will mirror the feature set scheduled for this upcoming update.
As always, if you encounter any bugs, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.
Blowpipe Improvements
Mimic Dart
Pirates can now Mimic the Mimic, chaining the same appearance onto multiple pirates for ultimate confusion. Simply shoot a player already under the Mimic’s effects to copy their look.
While mimicking a target, players performing an emote will now be shown a simple set of emotes that can be performed as that character and not the full set of their unlocked emotes. Once the Mimic effects are gone, players will regain access to their owned emotes.
Traps
Disguises
Mimic Dart
Players can still appear as green skeletons once the effects of a Mimic Dart wear off in certain scenarios.
Mimicking an enemy on fire will currently also display your character as on fire.
A player who is mimicking another may still appear as themselves to players who join a session after the effect has begun.
