Insider Update 3.2.0.1 is now live. While this Insider update returns to previewing features for upcoming releases, the team is continuing to work on critical issues ahead of Season 14’s launch, addressing those called out in today’s Known Issues.
In this latest update, players can take on a Limited Voyage for the Mercenaries, battling Ghost Fleets and Phantoms at a Defended Sea Fort to recover stolen loot.

Defended Dark Fortress Voyage
Players can now experience a new Limited Voyage for the Mercenaries: A Raid on a Defended Dark Fortress.
Fight through waves of Ghost Fleets and Phantoms at a Defended Sea Fort and take down both the Captain of the Fortress and the Dark Phantom Jailor Diego Barras to retrieve all of the stolen treasure.
Hanging Points
Pirates killed while hanging from a location will become immune to further damage.
Players on PlayStation®5 may experience game instability when joining sessions with players who are actively using a ship’s hanging points.
Merfruit
Gameplay
Players no longer become invisible after returning from the Ferry of the Damned.
Ancient Skeletons now take poison damage when hit with a Poison Dart.
Traps
Players can no longer damage a ship's hull by activating traps with Bone Callers inside.
Players can now equip their weapons after disarming a trap.
Traps now appear correctly when placed in caves and Skeleton Camps.
Pirates of Mischief
The 'Poisonous Pirate' Commendation progresses correctly when hitting allied skeletons.
The 'Oceans of Venom' Commendation now tracks kills after defeating Ocean Crawlers as it should.
The 'Red Alert Raider' Commendation now unlocks for all crew members upon completion.
The 'Power of Three' Commendation for Black Powder Darts now unlocks properly.
The 'Pirate of Magnificent Mischief' Commendation now displays the correct icon.
Enemies defeated with the blowpipe now count towards the total vanquished.
Disguises & Stealth
Disguising as a chest while wearing certain costumes no longer shows floating eyes above the chest.
Player's legs no longer appear to merge through the barrel disguise when moving.
Players joining a session where another player is using a hanging point will now see them in the correct position and not floating.
Pirates no longer turn invisible when equipping a disguise while moving.
Disguise chests no longer reveal their interiors when viewed in third-person.
The brief flicker of arms when entering crouch has been resolved.
Releasing the crouch key now ensures players automatically exit crouch after entering it.
Visual and Audio
The Coral Coven Double Barrel Pistol's iron sight now aligns correctly with the target.
The Pirate Lord no longer becomes transparent when players walk away and return during his speech.
Sound effects for the chest disguise on the front end menu are now present.
Characters’ faces are no longer missing parts when wearing the Shadow Tide Ninja Mask and Monstrous Mask of Mayhem.
Blowpipe darts are now correctly aligned when reloading as a female pirate model.
Female pirate models no longer change shape when switching to throwing knives from a third-person view.
The Dark Warsmith Grapple Gun no longer merges through the first-person camera.
The Sting Tide Blunderbuss no longer merges through players' hands in third-person view.
Extra rivets have been added to the Lucky Hand Cannon horseshoes.
'The Journey to Mêlée Island' - Murray is now visible near the gate leading to the Governor's Mansion when starting from the third checkpoint.
Text and Localisation
Improved localisation for missing areas of Season 14’s feature set across all supported languages.
The interaction prompt for hanging points is now properly localised.
The Gold Hoarders Tutorial banner now correctly displays the player's gamertag at the start.
The Armoury on other crews’ ships is now properly localised in all supported languages.
Performance and Stability
Improved server stability to avoid instances where players are disconnected from their session.
Further performance improvements to placed traps, improving overall server performance when large amounts of traps are present.
