Insider Update 3.1.0.6 is now live. To enable more directed testing on the upcoming Blunderbuss rework, the Insiders feature set has been changed to suit the testing needs of this feature. Custom servers have been enabled and features such as crouching, which introduced knock-on issues, have been temporarily disabled.
As always, if you encounter any bugs, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.
Custom Servers
To better support group testing on the upcoming Blunderbuss balancing changes in Insiders, the ability to create custom server sessions and invite groups of fellow Insiders has now been enabled.
To create a session, head to Settings within the Front-End Menu and find the Custom Server section. The host will then be able to setup the session and create a join code for others to use.
Custom Server access in Insiders is a temporary solution based on the testing needs of the features and will be disabled again once testing has completed.
Horn of Fair Winds Availability
The Horn of Fair Winds is now more easily discovered within the world. Crews will now find them guaranteed within vault of Siren Treasuries and they now have an increased chance of being discovered in Shipwrecks. In addition to these specific locations, there is now also a small chance that Horns of Fair Winds will wash up on islands across the Sea of Thieves.
To balance the increased availability, the gold rewarded when cashing in a Horn of Fair Winds has now been reduced. As a reminder, the gold amount earned is not linked to the power remaining within the Horn so blast away!
