Insider Patch Notes 3.0.1.4
Insider Update 3.0.1.4 is now live. In this update, players will be able to further test the Burning Blade in a co-ordinated playtest taking place on Saturday, June 1st, as well as purchase new cosmetics from both the Outpost Stores and the Pirate Emporium. The Chest of Fortune has also been relocated and can now be found aboard the Burning Blade as part of the new World Event.

Outpost Cosmetics
New stock arrives in the Outpost Stores with our June update. Players will be able to purchase the following items for gold by completing the attached Commendations.
June Outpost Stock
- The Deep Ocean Crawler Heavy Sword and Rapier, unlocked by completing the Legendary Kraken Hunter Commendation.
- The Gold Hoarders Boots, unlocked after reaching reputation level 65 with the Gold Hoarders.
Pirate Emporium
New stock arrives in the Pirate Emporium with today’s Insider release! These cosmetics are due to launch with June’s content update – here is the list of items you can expect to see available, so please pick them up with your Ancient Coins and take them for a spin:

Season 13
The Chest of Fortune
- For Season 13, the Chest of Fortune will move to the Burning Blade (for real this time). Players who take on the Burning Blade World Event can nab the high-value chest upon completion.
Known Issues
Steam Platform
- Players on the Steam version of Insiders may encounter a game crash when launching the game.
Pirate Emporium
- Placeholder text, prices and imagery can be seen across the Pirate Emporium.
- Players are able to purchase individual items from a bundle even if they’ve just purchased the bundle in its entirety.
- Birds have an incorrect animation when landing on a player’s hand as they stand up.
- There are visual inconsistencies in the level of detail when looking at the Dire Dark Warsmith Cannons when equipped.
- The Dire Dark Warsmith Flag is not visible while equipped on a Brigantine.
- The Dire Dark Warsmith Ship’s Crest does not currently display the ship's name.
- The Paradise Garden Costume does not display wings on the pirate's back as intended.
The Burning Blade of Souls Sword
- When holding the sword, items in a Treasure Chest are deleted when picked up.
The Burning Blade
There is a range of clipping/environmental bugs regarding the presentation and geometry of the Burning Blade, where things clip or may not look attached to the ship.
When aboard the Burning Blade, rain can be seen in all areas where there is cover on the ship.
When the Burning Blade has been completed, the visual effects on the ship should only play once – however, in today’s build, they will repeatedly pulse.
Gameplay
- Cannonball Barrels on Sloops can inadvertently launch the player up in the air.
Fixed Issues
Gameplay
- Players should now be able to purchase their relevant promotions once they have reached the required company reputation level.
- Selling Ashen Chests from Vaults will now trigger the correct Ship and Pirate Milestones.
- Diving for the Shores of Gold Tall Tale checkpoint should no longer result in a tunnel failure.
- 'The Lair of LeChuck’ - Players will no longer get hardlocked after the wedding ceremony and can now complete the Tall Tale.
The Burning Blade
- Players should now respawn correctly aboard the Burning Blade and not in the water or inside the ship structure.
- The Chest of Fortune will no longer spawn inside the table on the Burning Blade.
- The Obsidian Ashen Winds Skull will no longer spawn under the floor on the Burning Blade.
- Players should no longer catch on fire if they are stood at the front of the Burning Blade to fire the Ashen Roar.
- When sailing the Burning Blade, players should find that it no longer gets stuck on islands, reefs and rocks, causing it to disappear and ending the World Event.
- Players who ram their ships into the Burning Blade will now see their ships damaged from the collision.
- The brazier flames on the Burning Blade are now attached to the braziers
- Players aboard the Burning Blade who turn off the ship’s lanterns will now find the lanterns switch off correctly and will no longer see a dim light.
