Insider Patch Notes 2.8.6.7
Insider Update 2.8.6.7 is now live. As we approach the highly anticipated release date for Season Ten, Insider builds will now align with the new content that awaits in the forthcoming live update. Insiders can truly immerse themselves in the thrilling world of Guilds, while enjoying an exclusive sneak peek into the upcoming Plunder Pass rewards and the captivating Seasonal cosmetics that await them!

Season Ten
Seasonal Progression Boost
- In this Insiders build, players will continue to earn Seasonal progression at a much faster rate to facilitate testing. This boosted progression does not reflect the progress players will make in the live version of the game once released.
Known Issues
Guilds
- The ‘View Guild Invite’ prompt for the Guild Invite emote will appear behind the character performing the emote and will not be useable by other players.
- If the player is asked to join two different Guilds via Guild Invite emote and only had one slot left, they will experience a never-ending loading screen when attempting to join the second Guild after successfully joining the first.
Fixed Issues
Gameplay
- Rowboats attached to ships will now be useable as intended when pirates return to their ship via a Sunken Merfolk statue.
‘The Lair of LeChuck’
- Items placed on the ground near the stockade will no longer float or merge with the floor.
- Players will no longer fall through the floor in certain places around Monkey Island.
- The Pirate Lord’s shadow will now track correctly with the Pirate Lord.
Guilds
- Guild information now shows correctly on the Guild Invite emote scroll.
- The text prompt to ‘View Invite’ now asks the player to ‘Hold to View’ as intended.
- The Guild Invite emote Guild Info card will now still be shown even when the player viewing the emote is already part of the maximum number of Guilds.
- The Guild Permissions found under the Guild Management Setting now contain finalised text.
Pirate Emporium
- The Collector's Pets in the Pirate Emporium now display finalised artwork rather than placeholder images.
Visual and Audio
- The Gold Leaf Blunderbuss no longer merges through player’s point of view when firing.
- The Stormfish Chaser Capstan now correctly displays the compass references for East and West.
- The Intrepid Explorer Jacket will now fit smaller pirates with no visual distortion.
- The glass on the Intrepid Explorer Eyepatch will now behave correctly when other players are viewing it up close.
- The amount of water in the Bucket of Eternal Cooking has been increased.
Text and Localisation
- Text now appears correctly on the new style of loading screen.
- The prompt to ‘Vote to Lower Guild Emissary Flag’ now contains the correct text.
