Alongside these alarming additions, players can also try out the new Gold Leaf Outpost Cosmetics, as well as a colourful blunderbuss that’s sure to make you the life of any party!

As always, if you encounter any bugs, then please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.

Known Issues

*Pirate Emporium *

  • The Friend or Fright emote is currently missing bats that should appear when performing.
  • The Crimson Crypt Ship’s Crest does not currently display ship names after being equipped.

*Guilds of Gold *

  • Guild information appears incorrectly on the Guild Invite emote scroll.
  • There is no in-game notification when a player accepts a Guild invite via the Guild Invite emote.
  • After accepting the invite, players currently have to leave the session to see the Guild information.
  • When Players perform the Guild Invite emote, the interaction is currently ‘Press to Interact’, but should be ‘Hold to Interact’.
  • Moving away from the Guild Invite scroll does not automatically close the Invite card that pops up on screen.
  • If the player is already part of three Guilds, the Guild Invite card does not appear on screen alongside the ‘You are already in three Guilds’ text.
  • Players do not receive Captaincy Ship rewards after achieving the relevant Class Level in Milestones.

Fixed Issues

*Sea of Thieves On-Demand *

  • Pirates choosing to dive to a Merchant Contract will now find themselves emerging from the sea closer to their intended destination.

*Guilds of Gold *

  • The Fates of Fortune clothing items are now locked behind the commendation as intended.
  • The Guild Distinction text will now appear at the correct size on the Guild Plaque.
  • The Guild Name and Icon are now present on the first page of the Player’s Logbook.
  • The Invite Friends menu for Guilds will now show all available friends correctly.
  • The warning text that appears when using the Guild Renaming Deed is now red, which is consistent with the renaming process for ships.
  • Guild Names will now unscramble instantly when the ‘Hide Guild Names from Me’ setting is set to off after leaving a session in which this setting was turned on.
  • Players should no longer see multiple versions of the same Guild name when using the ‘Hide Guild Names from Me’ setting.
  • Guild Names on Guild Invites from other users will be scrambled when the Player’s Xbox settings are set to block incoming user generated content.
  • The pop-up notification received when being removed from a Guild now shows the name of the Guild that the Player is being removed from.

*Environment *

  • Players are no longer able to swim under the environment in the Shrine of Ancient Tears.
  • Players are no longer able to walk through the table in the Sovereign's Tent.
  • There is no longer an invisible wall blocking the player's path on the left side of the stairs in front of the shipwreck on the Maiden Voyage island.
  • 'A Pirate’s Life’ - Players will no longer become trapped when falling into certain parts of the scenery.

*Visual and Audio *

  • Taking the Skull of Siren Song out of the chest as the chest initially opens no longer causes multiple beacons to appear every time the skull is picked up.
