Insider Patch Notes 2.8.4.3
Insider Update 2.8.4.3 is now live. A fresh set of rewards that will be coming as part of Guilds of Gold is now available for insiders to preview and unlock as they progress their Guild. Along with this, Insiders can still take part in some on demand Voyages and Tall Tales that will be coming as part of Season Twelve.

Gameplay Improvements
Ladder Climbing Improvements
- Pirates jumping and grabbing a ladder at the top will now smoothly climb the last step up and ascend quicker.
Known Issues
*Guilds of Gold *
- Guild Reputation will not increase on Guild Rep Cards and Players will not receive Guild Rep notfications.
*Season Twelve *
- This is a very early preview of this feature set at the moment and therefore may still contain placeholder text or imagery.
*Controller Aim Assist *
- Players using Aim Assist will find that opposing crews using emotes to hide can sometimes be discovered by the new settings. This is not part of the design and is being investigated by the team.
Fixed Issues
*Gameplay Improvements *
- The timer to clear map markers will no longer reset even while holding down the button prompt.
- Players can now clear map markers whilst their cursor isn't directly on a marker when another user observes the map table.
*Season Twelve *
- Canceling a voyage while in the tunnel no longer results in an abnormal transition back at an outpost.
- Non-Season Twelve loot item's sold notifications now have new company specific backgrounds.
*Guilds of Gold *
- Non-guildmates are no longer given the option to restore the Guild Ship.
- The word 'Gamertag' will longer appear instead of the word 'Guild Name' on the Top Emissaries page.
- When on someone else's Ship without them present, you can now change the cosmetics of the ship.
- The Guild's icon will no longer appear next to crewmates that are not part of the Guild
- When restoring a pristine ship with a damaged Rowboat, a value will appear on the pop up as intended.
*Pirate Emporium *
- Parts of the Prehistoric Plunderer ship set no longer flicker when on Xbox Series X/S and using a HDR screen.
