Insider Patch Notes 2.8.0.2
Insider Update 2.8.0.2 is now live. Insiders can enjoy a range of activities within the Sea of Thieves from retail therapy at the pirate emporium browsing and trying out the range of March emporium items or for those looking for adventure why not try our newly rebalanced world events or new range voyages.
As always, if you encounter any bugs, then please head to the
Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.
Known Issues
*Pirate’s Log Season UI *
- Players on lower spec hardware may experience issues when browsing the Pirate Log, finding they are unable to navigate to the active Season to check progress, Trials and Deeds. Players are still earning season renown for their actions and progress through the Season can be checked on the Sea of Thieves website.
*Scuttling your ship *
- The ‘Vote to Scuttle Ship’ option currently contains debug text within its description in all languages.
Fixed Issues
*Gameplay *
- Players can now interact with Legendary Louise the Tavernkeeper in the Athenas Fortune Hideout.
- Storage Crates for single resources such as Cannonball Crates no longer display additional UI elements within the storage limits space.
- Players being caught in the blast from a Trident of Dark Tides while inside a ship will now take reduced damage.
*Captains of Adventure *
- Dropping the Captain's Logbook no longer causes it to lose its cover customisation.
*Port Merrick *
- The compass on the lighthouse is now orientated correctly.
*In Game Player Reporting *
- The option to report a player will no longer be greyed out allowing players to report Player Names, Ship Names and Pet Names. For Insider testing purposes, no moderation actions will actually take place from any reports.
*Pirate Emporium *
- The Glow on the left eye of the Frostbite figurehead no longer disappears after 10 meters.
*Visual and Audio *
- The Tabs under Trials section within the Pirates Log now correctly display their corresponding page.
