# Insider Patch Notes 2.7.2.6

Intro

Insider Update 2.7.2.6 is now live. In today’s update video really did kill the hand written update star as from today players in insiders will be able to view and peruse a number of videos covering all things Sea of Thieves in our What’s New section of the game menu. Members of the Reapers Bones will also be happy to hear that a certain caged Skeleton is willing and waiting to take their emissary flags and he only bites a little.

## Gameplay Improvements

**Reaper’s Bones Outpost Representative**

* The Reaper’s Bones Skeleton hanging out at the Outpost will now accept Emissary Flags ‘recovered’ by cutthroat pirate crews in return for Gold and Reputation.

## Updates

**Video Playback**

* Pirates who load up Sea of Thieves will now find that the Front End menu has the ability to display video content after logging in. For this initial Insiders test, players will be shown the Season Eight Trailer instead of the usual Animatic along with the ability to skip.
* Players can also browse the What’s New section to rewatch these videos on demand.

**Larinna’s Bilge Rat shop**

* Larinna will now have a refreshed set of letters of recommendation within here Bilge Rat shop for players to purchase and increase their company ranks.

## Known Issues

**Server Migration**

* Players choosing to scuttle their ship and move to a new server will currently find their active voyages are lost.

**New Golden Sands Outpost**

* Construction of the New Golden Sands outpost is currently still a work in progress and does not reflect the final implementation.
* Players may find they become stuck while navigating the roof of the Gold Hoarders building.

**Captains of Adventure**

* After players migrate to a new server there is a chance that their captains log may then be missing its Event Log section.

## Fixed Issues

**Gameplay**

* Players using the Ship’s harpoon while migrating across servers will now find the harpoon remains usable on arrival.

* The contents of storage containers will no longer revert back to the default values after migrating to a new server.
* The Skull of Destiny tutorial prompt will now stay on screen longer to give players adequate time to read it.

**Captains of Adventure**

* Players should no longer see their Captain's Logbook become ruined once another Captained Ship has sunk.

* The Treasured Memento Mori will now appear in the Trinket box after purchasing
* Some icons for 'Arrived at (X)' will now appear when intended within the Events Log.
* Icons for events will be entered at the end of the day within the Events Log.

**New Golden Sands**

* The path texture next to a bridge in New Golden Sands Outpost will no longer appear to be floating.
* The archway leading into The Gold Hoarders building will no longer intersect with players camera.
* Players can no longer intersect with their camera to see into stone archway and walls.
* The Outpost signpost directions are no longer incorrect or missing the interaction prompt.

* Player are now able to refill tankard at the grog barrel inside Gold Hoarders
* Players are now able to sit down on the bench or stool in the Gold Hoarders building
* Items placed on the new bridges will no longer appear to float.
* Players should no longer be able to see through to the outside when looking through the gate/drain during a storm in the reapers bones area.
* The Mysterious note on table within the tavern no longer intersects with the table.

* Players are no longer able to walk under water in a small area of the water surrounding the island
* Players can no longer intersect with structures on bridge that connects Sovereign and Company islands.
* The Interaction prompt for a removed signpost is no longer present. 
* Rain is no longer visible within the Order of Souls building during a storm
* There is no longer a visible texture seam on the connecting bridge between Main and Company island.

* The interaction prompt is no longer missing from the top of ladder on Sovereign Island.

**Pirate Emporium**

* The Infinite Depths Armor Mock emote now has the intended sound effects.

**User Interface**

* Pirates will no longer see a Guilds Tab within the Front End menu after experiencing an error message.

**Visual and Audio**

* The Disable Blur option is now working as intended after traveling through the Tunnels of the Damned.
* The players mouths no longer intersects with the Craggy Beard cosmetic.

**Performance and Stability**

* Insiders experiencing the performance regression from previous updates should now find the experience much smoother. Thank you all for reporting this issue so swiftly and aiding the team in working on a resolution.
* Improved server stability to reduce instances where players are disconnected from their session.
