Insider Patch Notes 2.6.3.7
Insider Update 2.6.3.7 is now live. Our next adventure ‘The Rogue’s Legacy’ is still live for Insiders seeking Adventure to go ahead and try out. To get started, simply speak to Larinna at any Outpost to see how you can help.

Sea of Bones
PvP on Demand
- For today's Insider build only, the Season Eight PvP on demand feature set will be disabled. Players will still be able to access the hideouts and perform the ritual or blessing cutscenes.
Updates
Cursed Cannonball Balancing
- Cursed Cannonballs are now more scarcely discovered in island barrels, washed-up crates and Rowboats.
- Cannonball Crates of the Damned now only award a single Wraith Cannonball due to their immense power.
- The duration of a Cursed Cannonball effects has now been shortened and all cannonball types now share the same effect duration.
- Players are now limited to holding only three Cursed Cannonballs at any one time.
Hiding Ship Names
- Captains now have access to a new setting, providing creators with more control over their ship’s crest, banners and logbooks. Captains enabling ‘Hide My Ship Name From Others’ will now find the ship’s name is replaced when their ship is viewed by any other player.
- The existing settings for replacing Gamertags, ship names and captain’s Gamertags have all been renamed to improve consistency.
Known Issues
‘The Rogue’s Legacy’
- This is an early preview of the Adventure and therefore may contain placeholder imagery, models and text.
- Deeds are currently not working as intended and will therefore not track accordingly to player's progress. Due to this, players will currently not receive Mementos for finishing the Adventure.
Fixed Issues
Gameplay
- Wreckers now appear at shipwrecks while on a Merchant's Lost Shipment Voyages or while exploring a Shipwreck Graveyard as part of the Legend of the Veil Voyage.
Sea of Bones
- A player’s skeleton body type will no longer change at the end of the ritual cutscene.
- The chains on the lift in the Reapers Hideout no longer appear detached.
- All Season Eight achievements now use final artwork.
- Players can now start the Athena cutscene after receiving Athena Champion from the Pirate Lord as intended.
- Players wearing a costume prior to applying the Ghost Curse will now see the intended cursed effects.
- Players taking part in the ritual cutscene will no longer have an orange like glow emitting from their pirate's wrist or torso.
- Observing a pirate during the ritual cutscene, audio effects such as drinking can now be heard at the correct time of the sequence.
- Improved server stability when sailing or using the mermaid to get to Plunder Outpost.
- Improved server stability when exiting the Athena’s Fortune Hideout.
‘The Rogue’s Legacy’
- Tasha's pre-adventure dialogue responses are now correct.
- Players having already handed in all three artifacts to Madame Olivia can now continue the Adventure if migrating across servers.
- Improved server stability when taking part in the Adventure.
*Captains of Adventure *
- Supplies/Voyages bought from the Shipwright Supplies Shop now transfer over to the player's ship.
Pirate Emporium
- The King’s Ransom Cannon Flare fireworks no longer fire in the direction of the wind.
- The Night Wulf Eye of Reach now provides the same field of view as other weapons when aiming down sights.
Visual and Audio
- While sailing the Sloop, players should no longer hear a creaking audio effect repeating from the rear canvas.
- The stones that make up the wall on east side island and the central bridge to the east of the island on New Golden Sands no longer flicker.
- The stonework for east island path on New Golden Sands no longer has conjoined textures.
