# Insider Patch Notes 2.5.1.4

Insider Update 2.5.1.3 is now live. The team continue to focus on polishing up the Shrouded Deep and Legend of the Veil ahead of release later this month. Speak to Larinna and head to the wrecked Killer Whale at M13 to join the fight!

## Adventures

**‘Shrouded Deep’**

* Players defeating a summoned Megalodon will now find their soul lingers below the waves and is shown by a distinctive glowing beam of light and pulse from the water’s surface. The soul is more easily retrieved no matter the surrounding water conditions.
* When returning a charged effigy to the Ritual Table, players can simply place the effigy onto the table, without having to raise the effigy first.

## Pirate Emporium

**Lionfish Ship Collection**

* State that your majesty is not just for show with this ostentatious Lionfish Ship Collection! In addition to the main bundle, a venomous Collector’s Figurehead and Collector’s Sails can be purchased separately.
* A Lionfish Essential Ship Bundle is also on offer, including just the core ship cosmetics at a discount.

**Lionfish Costume**

* Send ripples throughout the tavern with this regal costume set, containing masked and unmasked variants of the Lionfish Costume.

* While wearing this graceful outfit, players can perform the Courtly Dance Emote.

**Lionfish Weapons**

* Handle these four dazzling weapons, inspired by the striking yet toxic lionfish.

**Lionfish Hurdy-Gurdy**

* Expect some psychedelic jams when you're rocking out with this harlequin hurdy-gurdy. Groovy.

**Pocket Pets**

* Players looking for a less needy companion while out at sea can now purchase a pocket pet, which can be brought out when performing the emote. Pets will perform one of a range of actions when performed from cute interactions through to dances.
* Players can choose from a whiskered Pocket Rat or a pinchy Pocket Crab!

**Stage Dive Emotes**

* Hide in the most dramatic fashion possible with this set of four outrageous yet somehow stealthy emotes.

**Freebie Chest Hide Emote**

* After a sneak peak in a previous update, players can finally get their hands on the Chest Hide Emote as a freebie while visiting the Pirate Emporium!

**Aquatic Elegance Bundle (Store Only)**

* Available only from the Xbox, Microsoft and Steam Stores, this bundle contains the Lionfish Costume, Hurdy-Gurdy and Weapon Bundle, 550 Ancient Coins and a free 25,000 gold bonus for use in the Outpost shops! ## Known Issues

**Tall Tale Cutscenes**

* When playing through a Tall Tale, after interacting with a character and beginning a cutscene – moving away from that character a fair distance and returning will now cause the cutscene to stop and the character return to an idle state. The Tall Tale will continue to progress to the next chapter, however players will not visually see the cutscene take place.

**‘Shrouded Deep’**

* The Sails on the Ghost Ships do not currently fade in and out with the Ghost Ship’s arrival in the encounter.

**Legend of the Veil Voyage**

* Crews migrating servers during the Voyage can cause various issues preventing progress.

**Pirate Emporium**

* The Pirate Emporium contains a range of placeholder artwork, imagery and text. The team are not currently looking for feedback on these clear placeholder areas of the experience.
* Larger pirates can be seen intersecting with the chest when performing the Chest Hide emote.
* The Courtly Dance Emote cannot currently be performed when equipping the Lionfish Costume.
* When performing a pocket pet emote, the full range of actions are currently not being displayed.

## Fixed Issues

**‘Shrouded Deep’**

* When summoning a Megalodon with a summoning flare or during the final ritual, players will no longer find two Megalodons appear.
* The barrels on the Killer Whale will now replenish resources every 30 minutes.

* Players placing charged effigies on the Ritual Table will now hear voice over from Belle.
* The Shrouded Ghost now has a longer timeout when leaving the encounter inactive for a short period of time.
* The Shrouded Ghost should less frequently switch targets resulting in less erratic movement during the encounter.
* The beam of light shown when placing all four required effigies on the Ritual Table is now seen at range but also while onboard the Killer Whale.
* Reduced the font size of Belle’s notes to reduce overlapping text in non-English languages.

* When collecting the Megalodon soul, the soul will now visually shrink when collecting.
* Players having already completed the Shrouded Deep Adventure can once again speak to Bell to replay the Adventure.

**Legend of the Veil Voyage**

* Purchasing Rank 30 in Athena’s Fortune no longer locks players out from purchasing other Pirate Legend Voyages.

**Legend of the Veil – Shipwreck Graveyard**

* Players should no longer jitter when moving close to a music box found within shipwrecks.
* Barrels on the Grim Fortune wreckage no longer obstruct player movement.
* Curtains on the Crimson Revenge wreckage no longer obstruct player movement.

* Within the Queen’s Envy, players should no longer find items intersecting with the container doors when opening.
* Losing the Grim Fortune Key will now cause the Voyage to fail.
* Migrating across servers prior to picking up the door key will no longer prevent players from collecting it on the destination server.

**Visual and Audio**

* The glowing lantern lights of the Killer Whale wreck are no longer present when the Adventure is inactive.
* The glowing light effect from a mermaid is no longer extinguished when looking away from the mermaid itself.
* When attacking a Megalodon with a cannonball, the appropriate hit audio effect can now be heard.
* When viewing the Barrel Bombardier Hull from a distance, players should no longer see glowing parts of the hull disappear when moving closer towards it.
* When the Skeleton Fort at Shark Fin Camp is active, the crews descending to the Shrine of Hungering should no longer hear overlapping music within the Shrine.
