Insider Patch Notes 2.4.0.11
Insider Update 2.4.0.11 is now live. In our last Insider’s build before January’s Update, we continue to restrict the feature set to those shipping in this update. The listed Known Issues have continued to be worked on for resolution ahead of our final retail release.

Updates
Island Enemy Encounters
- While exploring resource islands, after vanquishing a group of Ocean Crawlers, Phantoms or skeletons, crews should now enjoy a much longer respite period before encountering them again on the same island.
Insiders Pirate Wipe
- To facilitate testing potential server instability experienced by new pirates, as part of Insider update 2.4.0.11 all pirates have now been wiped to provide a clean testing slate. Upon logging in, all Insiders will be required to create a new pirate, with some being automatically boosted to Pirate Legend for testing.

- The ‘Full Billow’ Achievement is not currently earnable when completing the required criteria.
Fixed Issues
General
- ‘A Pirate’s Life’ - When reaching the Rowboat during the first Tall Tale, players are once again able to detach the Rowboat and progress the Tale.
- Players burying items within the Pirate Legend Hideout will no longer receive a treasure map.
- Players will now hear appropriate audio effects when digging up Artifacts and Ashen Winds Skulls.
- While fishing, character animations for the player should now appear correctly.
Environment
- Festive decorations around the Outposts have once again been packed away.
- Players are once again able to read Grace’s Journal when discovered on Ashen Reaches.
- Players will no longer find an invisible cube on Crescent Isle when exploring the treeline.
Pirate Emporium
- Improved the accuracy of the Lodestar Cannons by removing the lateral movement of the flared tip.
- Performing the Bouquet Toss Emote while standing on a dock should no longer cause the flowers to disappear.
Performance and Stability
- Players on Windows 10 builds from the Microsoft Store should no longer experience extended freezes early in the session when moving quickly between servers.
