Known Issues
Burying Items
- Items that are partially buried when a player dies cannot be fully buried unless they are fully dug back up again.
- Players are not able to fully bury an item in Strange Shores during the A Pirates Life tall tale.
- The deed for stealing a map bundle will tick up if a player picks up their own map bundle and place it on their table.
*Fireworks *
- Fireworks have a chance to not fire from a cannon.
- Migrating across servers while a Firework’s fuse is lit causes it to be unusable when arriving on the new server.
- Attempting to launch Fireworks in Tunnels of the Damned causes the fuse to light permanently.
- When a Firework is held by a player, it is not shown in the correct position in the hand.
Sitting & Sleeping
- Players do not currently drown when sleeping underwater and are also not removed from a seating position when the ship sinks or catches on fire.
- Standing up shortly after sleeping will cause the laying down animation to continue and the camera will be on the floor for a short time.
Dice Emotes
- Trying to play dice emotes while already using one will not swap the emote.
Season Five
- The commendation “Down with the Ship" will incorrectly count sitting on an enemy player’s ship.
- Carafe’s are not counting for the Hider of Sizeable Stashes commendation unless a player buries 6 of them.
- The 'Steal a map bundle as a reaper ...' emissary deed is not tracking when the player steals the item, but when it’s placed on their own voyage table.
- The boreal Aurora Cannon Flare within the Plunder Pass is currently using a placeholder effect and is not representative of the final design.
*Festival of Giving *
There is placeholder imagery across the Festival of Giving Event. Navigating between pages in Larinna’s black Market while selecting a Gilded voyage can cause the purchase process to fail.
Fixed Issues
*General *
- Ammo pouches dropped by emergent enemies upon death should no longer be out of alignment with the spike when harpooned.
- ‘X’ Marks the Spot Treasure Maps will now show valid ‘X’ spots on Piccaroon Palms.
- Players attempting to glitch through a ship’s hull from the water will now be safe-teleported away from the ship.
- Gilded Voyages are now only removed from players inventories once successfully begun. Any voyages failing to be created are now returned to the voyage inventory.
*Burying *
- The map bundles should now look correctly positioned in the player's hand in both first-person and third-person view.
- The Coffer item no longer disappears into the sand prematurely when burying.
- Storage crates can now be buried by players, and they should no longer disappear once being placed in the ground.
- When approaching the portal to the Tunnels of the Damned, the toast should warn you that you will lose your maps, as well as booty.
- Items dug up from below ground will now have sand on them.
- Items buried on Piccaroon Palms will now create Treasure Maps with valid ‘X’ spots.
- Crews earning rewards from a Map posted to the Quest board will now see correct iconography on reward notifications.
Fireworks
- Players and gunpowder kegs should now receive damage when hit by Fireworks.
- Signal Flares fired into the sky will now cause Shadow Skeletons to become vulnerable.
- Fireworks names should now contain the word "Firework" at the end, e.g. "Pig Firework" instead of just "Pig”.
- The Banana firework now displays a simpler image when fired.
- The Burning Blade and Reapers Mark fireworks should now use the same visual effects sizes as other Fireworks. Dice Emotes Players using a Dice Emote will now roll a random number.
Sitting & Sleeping
- Sitting or sleeping players should no longer appear unanimated for other players when approaching them from a distance or after joining their session while in progress.
- Players being knocked out of a sitting spot either from damage, death or knockback etc will now be placed back in the correct location.
- When sitting in a spot, switching to a remote camera should no longer cause the players view to stutter.
- During the Captains of the Damned tall tale one of the stools in the Tavern of the Damned has been changed to no longer be interactable.
- The 3rd person camera should zoom in to the correct position when sitting and switching to 3rd person camera.
- Players should have to hold the interact button to sleep on the bed.
- Players should now be able to hear a snoring sound while sleeping.
Moving Resources Between Barrels and Crates
- Taking Items from a Rowboat Chest using a Storage Crate should no longer result in those Items being lost.
