Insider Patch Notes 2.3.0.7
Insider Update 2.3.0.7 is now live. In our last Insider’s build before October’s update, we have restricted the feature set to those shipping in October. The listed Known Issues have continued to be worked on for resolution ahead of our final retail release.

Known Issues
Player Input Handling
- Firing yourself from a cannon will also fire the weapon that is being held.
Pirate Emporium
- The Crimson Crypt Cannon Flare leaves behind a bat visual effect when firing players from cannons.
- The front-end Pirate Emporium and What’s New tiles have placeholder imagery.
Ship’s Map
- Picaroon Palms is shown in the incorrect location on the ship map.
Fixed Issues
General
- Players should now find the intended frequency of regular and Harpoon Rowboats appearing emergently across the seas.
- When players stand near the captain's table, the "Place Maps" text should no longer appear.
- The Dark Adventurers Blunderbuss should no longer clip into the player's hand while reloading.
- The Scorched Forsaken Ashes Flag has been revised with appropriate iconography to better match the sail design.
Player Input Handling
- With a Cutlass equipped, after holding block and performing a heavy sword lunge with a jump, upon landing the player will not return to blocking stance if not continuing to hold block.
- Holding block or aim prior to wielding a weapon will now switch correctly into block or aim depending on the weapon.
- Holding block or aim prior to releasing from a ship interaction will now switch correctly into block or aim if a weapon is wielded.
- Holding block or aim prior to sprinting and exiting sprint, the player will return to blocking stance if continuing to hold block.
- After stowing an item such as a weapon or equipment, picking up treasure and dropping it will no longer cause the item to be rewielded.
- Holding Primary Use prior to selecting an item from the equipment radial will now begin using that item once wielded.
Accessibility
- The “disable blur” option should now remain “On” even when a player leaves and re-joins a session.
- When players are in a storm with Nautical Narration enabled, the ship's compass should now be narrated as "Compass is Spinning".
- Increased size and size of text of the “Delete Pirate”, “Dismiss Pet” and the “join Session/Create Session” custom server buttons in the settings screen.
- The message of the day text on the front-end has been increased in size and correctly applies increased line height to help with accessibility.
Pirate Emporium
- Text and imagery within the Pirate Emporium should now be final.
- Performing a costume emote or on entering the Pirate Legend’s Hideout should no longer stop players being able to interact with characters when on Xbox.
Tall Tales
- Ocean Crawlers should now take damage from environmental traps.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ – When playing as a female pirate, the Sunken Crystal’s Captain’s Cabin key should now sit correctly in the player’s hand during the first-person camera view.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ – The Kraken's Head should now have the correct amount of health intended.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ – The water level should be at the correct level even when leaving the Shrine area and returning.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ – The first Siren window after the Silver Blade fight should no longer close as players pass through the window.
- ‘The Dark Brethren’ – There should no longer be any missing voice over audio.
Sunken Kingdom
- Storing and retrieving loot in a Shrine or Treasury should no longer trigger visual effect changes for Sunken Merfolk Statues in other Shrines and Treasuries.
- Players should now be able to hear other players storing and retrieving loot from the Sunken Merfolk and Sunken Merfolk Statues.
- ‘Shrine of the Coral Tomb’ – The shockwave visual effects in the Shrine of the Coral Tomb should no longer extended past the Shrine entrance.
- ‘Shrine of the Coral Tomb’ – Players are no longer able to navigate outside of the main hall by walking through the wall and reach outside the Shrine.
- ‘Shrine of Flooded Embrace’ – Fog should now be visible surrounding the shrine when playing on Xbox.
