Jewels of the Deep
Jewels of the Deep
- The trading companies are all keen to get a hold of precious Siren and Mermaid Gems that pirates will find while out on their adventures. Players will earn event favour by completing various event actions.
- Throughout the event, the trading companies will be offering bonuses for Mermaid Gems and Siren gems. Each company will have two real-time days where their bonus is active which will cycle between the Merchant Alliance, Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Reapers Bones, & Hunter’s Call. After cycling through each company, the remainder of the event will have the bonus active for all five companies at the same time.
- Players will also receive a 2x bonus for using the Trident to perform the Event actions.
Rewards
- Completing the event actions will reward players with a Jewels of the Deep Scar, Tattoo, Make-Up and “Collector of Cursed Gems” Title.
- There will be an additional Deed that tracks the number of siren and mermaid gems handed in to any trading company over the course of the event, completing this Deed will award players with a time-limited event-exclusive cosmetic – a Ruby Imperial Sovereign Eyepatch.

Developer Update.
Insiders will begin to see some aspects surfacing from the world below the waves in upcoming Insider builds, however at this stage these areas are not yet ready for testing and therefore are currently unreachable.
Updates
Rowboat Interactions
- The Rowboat's backseat now shows both ‘Sit in Seat’ and ‘Open Storage’ options together.
Ancient Coin Wallet
- When earning Ancient Coins, players will now see the amount of coins earned tick up in the notification area alongside any gold and doubloons earned.
Letters of Recommendation
- Larinna now offers additional Letters of Recommendation to players to purchase in this update to account for a lack of availability in previous updates.
Known Issues
Tall Tales
- ‘A Pirates Life’ & ‘Captains of the Damned’ – The ship map table is not blank and can show debug strings after joining a Tale in progress or rejoining a session.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ & ‘Dark Brethren’ – When a door to an encounter is locked and players must wait, it does not display a prompt to tell the player the door is locked.
- ‘The Sunken Pearl’ – Migrating after starting the Tale and while The Castaway is talking will block Tale progression as players will not be able to progress into the shrine though the Siren window.
Tunnels of the Damned
- When entering the Tunnels of the Damned as an active Emissary, you will no longer release an appropriate Emissary Flag in the water as you leave. This new Known Issue is a side effect of a recent fix to Emissary Flags and will be resolved in Insiders prior to our next retail release.
- While travelling through the Tunnels of the Damned, losing your connection to the game and rejoining may cause visual issues, causing the migration to the new area to fail and return you to your starting location.
- The Megalodon can spawn in the Tunnels of the Damned.
Pet Naming
- Players on Xbox are unable to rename their pets within the Pet Chest.
Pirate Emporium
- There is a range of placeholder text and imagery throughout the Pirate Emporium.
- The Pirate Emporium mistakenly offers the Barrel Disguise emote for purchase with Ancient Coins currently within the Pirate Emporium.
Jewels of the Deep
- Players won’t get a notification when completing any of the challenges.
- Larinna’s Black Market gold tab is empty.
