Insider Patch Notes 2.10.2.6
Insider Update 2.10.2.6 is now live. Insiders have the opportunity to test out the Burning Blade ship, now equipped with the Ashen Roar flamethrower weapon! Additionally, within this build, Insiders can explore the new cosmetics that will soon be available in Outpost shops with the upcoming April update.

Season 13
The Ashen Roar
- Within this build, Insiders can test out the Ashen Roar, a formidable forward-facing flamethrower, to enhance their naval combat experience while sailing on the Burning Blade.
Outpost Cosmetics
April Outpost Stock
- Outpost shops have received a new shipment of items from the Seared Forsaken Ashes set, featuring a ship set and clothing options! Also making an appearance are the Forsaken Ashes Heavy Sword and Rapier, as well as Refined Gold items previously released as rewards for the Wish You Were Here event.
Known Issues
Windows Store
- Some players on Windows Store are unable to play this Insider build.
Gameplay
- Xbox players are currently unable to use a connected mouse and keyboard.
Fixed Issues
Gameplay
- Players will no longer experience unexpected game closure when completing the Merchant Alliance tutorial.
- Players will no longer experience infinite loading screens when opening the ‘Invite friends’ Guild menu.
- Shark spawn rates are now at the correct frequency.
- Partial ship damage will no longer persist after sinking or scuttling.
Throwing Knives
- The 'Barrel Buster' Commendation will now unlock as intended when killing a Gunpowder Skeleton with a throwing knife.
- The throwing knife is now correctly registered as a throwing knife for the ‘Life and Soul’ Deeds.
Scattershots
- 'The Lair of LeChuck’ – Scattershot cannonballs can no longer damage LeChuck's ship.
Double Barrel Pistol
- Players are no longer forced to reload when sprinting after shooting one shot.
- Hit reg will function more consistently when players are shooting single shots in quick succession.
The Bonecaller
- Skeletons already spawned on the player’s ship will no longer remain on the ship when diving or when in the migration tunnel.
The Horn of Fair Winds
- The Horn of Fair Winds can no longer be used from beneath the deck to knock players back.
- Phantoms who are pushed back by the Horn of Fair Winds will now animate correctly.
- The camera will no longer appear to jitter when players are falling while using the Horn of Fair Winds.
- Players can no longer float on the surface of the water when using the Horn of Fair Winds from a height.
- The correct sound effect will now play when relighting a campfire that has been doused by the Horn of Fair Winds.
Pirate
Emporium
- Preview animations for Owl pets have been updated and animation quality should remain consistent no matter what distance these pets are viewed from.
- The Dark Warsmith Throwing Knife will no longer appear to be held backwards by players.
Visual and Audio
- The Maestro Banjo strings will no longer appear to merge into players' fingers.
Performance and Stability
- Improved server stability to avoid instances where players are disconnected from their session.
