Insider Update 3.7.0.5 is now live. Insiders can now test out an early iteration of switches and presets in Custom Seas, as well as test new cosmetics at Outpost and Emporium stores.
If you encounter any bugs while playing in Insiders, please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and report an issue with our Player Support team.
Switches
Switches are made available when creating a custom session on the front end menu, and allow Session Owners to customise a range of settings that modify how the world operates once a session is started.
Owners can adjust switches across categories that control Players, Ships, Emergent Creatures, World Events and Treasure Hand-In locations.
Presets
A set of Rare-curated Presets are available to help quickly begin customising a session, including Adventure, Competitive Pirates, Competitive Sandbox and Social. A Create Your Own preset is available for owners looking to start from scratch.
Once selected, Session Owners are free to modify their session further with fine-grained access to all available switches.
Owners can create and save their own Preset, allowing for reuse and refining of personalised experiences.
While Session Owners may find they have access to various Scoreboard switches in this Insiders build, these features are not yet functional and will arrive for testing in a future update.
