Insider Patch Notes 2.0.19.12
Insider Update 2.0.19.12 is now live! As we approach our Festival of Giving release, this Insiders build is now restricted to the feature set releasing in our next update. That means Seasons and the Lost Shipment Voyage are disabled while we focus on December’s Update, but they’ll be back soon enough!

Festival of Giving
Plundered Presents
- To round out the year, share goodwill across the seas with Plundered Presents! Each day, players sharing any five pieces loot with another crew will earn themselves 5,000 Gold per item, awarded when they are eventually cashed in.
- Check your progress in the Special Events menu and track your way through three Challenges, each earning rewards from the Gold Hoarder set. Greet your next crew with the Gold Hoarder Speaking Trumpet, Spyglass and Tankard.
- Failing to find that festive spirit? These rewards will become available at the Outpost for a greater challenge in the New Year!
Grogmanay
- Start the New Year as you mean to go on – with explosions! Celebrating Grogmanay, challenges crews with explosive goals which can be checked in the Special Events Menu.
- Wreaking havoc in these challenges, earns players the Order of Souls Bucket (perfect for putting out those fires you started), the Frostbite Cannons and the pleasantly colorful Paradise Garden Cannon Flare.
- Crew’s unable to snag these rewards will find them become available at the Outpost for a greater challenge in the New Year!
Known Issues
Localisation
- Loading Screens for December update are not localised.
Mysterious Notes
- The Mysterious Notes supporting Festival of Giving are not currently available for players when logging into the game.
Fixed Issues
General
- There should now be visual indication that the Crate of Rum Bottles are being damaged by fire spreading across a ship.
- Steam players selecting Latin American Spanish will now use the correct localisation.
- The Chest of Rage should now heat up again even after being doused at just the right point when exploding.
- The Festival of Giving loading screens should now have final art.
Events
- The Fate of the Damned button should no longer be still present in Special Events tab.
- The 12 Deeds of Giving section in the Events Tab will contain the correct visuals.
- All 12 Deeds of Giving challenges should now count towards the "All Deeds Defeating!"
- The description for the 'A Gunpowder Plot' challenge show now be an accurate representation of the unlock criteria.
Pirate Emporium
- All Frozen Horizon Items now have final names and descriptions.
Tall Tales
- While progressing through the Shore of Gold Tall tale, skeletons spawning outside of the Shores of Gold should no longer be affected by the tale.
Custom Servers
- Players should no longer be able to browse Larinna's store while on a Custom Server.
