Insider Patch Notes 2.0.19.1

Insider Update 2.0.18.9 is now live! Check out Larinna’s Black Market to pick up the Sea of Sands Captain and Crew costume to share with it your crew and head out on the seas with your Fate of the Damned Voyages.

If you encounter any bugs, then please head to the Sea of Thieves support site and let our Player Support team know.

Costumes with Emotes

  • Introducing built-in emotes! When you equip a costume purchased from the Pirate Emporium (for crew sets it will only apply to the captain), you will have a new option in your emote radial that says “Costume Emotes”. The Ruby Splashtail Monarch costume has been updated to reward players with an emote when the player is wearing the costume.

Updates

Ancient Vaults

  • Ancient Vault Voyages have been added back into the Devil's Roar Gold Hoarder shop.

Known Issues

Weapon Effects

  • When firing and reloading the Pistol and Blunderbuss, a flicker can be seen during the animation.
  • When firing the Eye of Reach, the audio effects do not match the reloading animations. Switching to an item can also cause the reload audio to play on the newly switched item.

Tall Tales

  • When migrating with the Mysterious Key during the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, the Tall Tale cutscenes from stop triggering and blocks players’ progress.

Arena

  • Players are unable to see any pop-ups or banners in the Tavern and during the contest.

Fixed Issues

General

  • Descriptions for the Corsair Sea Dog Pegleg and Crimson Corsair Sea Dog Pegleg have been updated.
  • Swimming near the shipwreck whilst on the Maiden Voyage will no longer cause a player’s character to stutter.
  • The skull and bone on the roof of the Dagger Tooth Outpost Tavern should now have the correct collision.
  • Jumping into the water by the bridge at The Reaper’s Hideout should no longer launch the player into the air.
  • Optimised a range of islands across the Shores of Plenty to improve client performance.

Fate of the Damned

  • The Fate of the Damned Voyages should no longer have placeholder text.
  • Failing or cancelling a Fate of the Damned Voyage will no longer place it back in the quest proposal menu.
  • When completing either Duke’s or the Devil’s Roar Voyage, it should no longer return to the quest inventory menu.

Ancient Vaults

  • The Devil’s Roar Ancient Vault Voyages should now have X Marks in accessible areas.
