Ahoy Pirates, Insider Update 2.0.18.4 is now live! With spooky season on the horizon we have a range of new items, pets and emotes in the Pirate Emporium!

Pirate Emporium
Soulflame Ship Collection
- Dress your ship ready to haunt the seas with the Soulflame Ship collection, complete with a spectral Collector’s Figurehead and Collector’s Sails.
- A Soulflame Ship Bundle is also on offer, including all the regular ship cosmetics at a discount.
Skelly Pets
- A spooky, scary Skeleton Alsatian and Mau are now available from the Pirate Emporium, along with the returning Skeleton Macaw and Marmoset. All are time-limited for the duration of the Fate of the Damned update.
Soulflame Lantern
- Light the way with the Soulflame Lantern, whose gaze is sure to give even the sturdiest sailor shivers.
Soulflame Weapons
- Go to battle with weapons ablaze, defeating skeletons and pirates alike using the new Soulflame-themed weapons.
Soulflame Captain and Crew Outfits
- The Soulflame Captain and Crew Bundle contains a range of eerie costumes, which can be shared with your whole crew!
Damned Face Paints
- Dress up your pirate with four new luminescent Face Paints!
Soulflame Emotes
- Have fun with new emotes which have you interacting with a Sentient Skeleton arm.
Lantern Dance Freebie Emote
- Show off your new Soulflame-themed Lantern with a Lantern Dance emote, available for free.
Updates
Narrate Emotes
- When “Let Games Read to Me” is enabled, emotes performed by other pirates will now be narrated and described to the player. Emotes that currently hide the gamertag will not be narrated.
Known Issues
Treasure Vault Voyages & Treasure Vaults
- The Devil's Roar Treasure Vault Voyages have been re-added into the Gold Hoarders shop at Morrows Peak, but some ‘X’ marks in The Devil’s Roar can be in impossible areas to dig.
Pirate Emporium
- There is a range of placeholder imagery and text in the Pirate Emporium.
Commendations
- When defeating the Skeleton Lord in the final wave of a Skeleton Fort, the Commendations for defeating named Skeleton Lords do not track when they are killed by fire.
Heart of Fire
- In the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, the lever in Stitcher Jim's Hideout works once per game's launch.
Custom Server
- Players will receive a Bosunbeard when trying to set sail from a custom server lobby.
Fixed Issues
General
- Reaper’s Chests earned from the Fort of the Damned should now have a Reaper’s Beacon.
- Quickly pressing Primary Use key while holding a pet should no longer disable the “Give Pet” animation.
- The rocks near Dagger Tooth Outpost should now have collisions.
- Using the oars on a Rowboat should correctly cause the Rowboat to move in water.
- Using Cosmetic Chests may still result in a blank preview pane and will no longer cause the game to crash.
- There is now a loading screen while going through Pirate Hideout waterfall entrance.
Pirate Emporium
- Players should now receive the Crew Costumes when joining game with a player that owns the Captain and Crew Costumes.
Treasure Vaults
- The Treasure Vault VFX and SFX should be in sync when the Vault door opens.
- The "Seeker of Ancient Vaults" commendation will now correctly tick up when players use a stolen Vault Key.
Mysterious Notes
- When Waking up in the tavern with a Mysterious note, the Note should now be automatically wielded to improve discoverability.
Arena Migration
- The last crew to vote for the migration after the contest will no longer be stuck on the "recording results" message and instead migrate as intended.
