Insider Patch Notes 2.0.18.10
Insider Update 2.0.18.10 is now live! Head out onto the seas with your Fate of the Damned Voyages to defeat Graymarrow and his colourful skeleton army.

Fate of the Damned
This Insider build continues to introduce work in progress elements for the Fate of the Damned feature set. For more context on this update, check out the recent

Fate of the Damned
- The braziers at the end of Duke’s and Merrick's Voyages are now themed in a similar fashion to the Sea of the Damned.
- The first clue for the Devil’s Roar Fate of the Damned Voyage is now presented as a Mysterious Note from Larinna.
Updates
Ashen Lords
- When defeating an Ashen Lord, players will be guaranteed a Chest of Rage and a Ritual Skull as rewards, and all rewards gained from this encounter will now have an increased value.
Known Issues
Fate of the Damned
- Merrick’s Voyage- Handing in another's crew old boot for the first time will grant the player 10k gold.
- Merrick’s Voyage – Players will be unable to take the Flames of Fate after migration.
- Devils Roar Voyage – Lanterns and Map Fragments can be placed so the player cannot interact with them or appear partially submerged in the floor.
- When speaking to campaign NPCs, their contextual dialogue does not currently update as crews progress through the Voyages.
- Fate of the Damned Voyages still have placeholder text in the Mercenary Tab.
- During their onboarding Voyage, new players can encounter ambient Shadows of Fate and may be unaware of how to defeat them.
- The Braziers will become unusable if two Graymarrow’s spawn on the same island.
Challenges of the Damned
- When completing challenges there will be no pop up to show that the Soulflame Weapons have been acquired.
- Many challenges will have defeat “X” when there should be a number.
- Players will not be rewarded with the Soulflame Cutlass when completing four of the daily challenges.
- The lighting of all beacons within a sea using a certain coloured lantern challenges do not track.
Migration
- Migration causes Tall Tale NPCs to vanish from Outposts, and any dropped loot on the floor vanishes for the player.
Tall Tales
- During the Shroudbreaker Tall Tale, the Ancient Chest will disappear and cause the Tale to be failed.
- During the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, if a player migrates with the Mysterious Key the Tall Tale cutscenes will no longer trigger and the player will no longer be able to progress.
Cooking SFX
- The cooking SFX on a ship does not work when a player returns from the Ferry of the Damned.
Weapon SFX
- The animation flickers when firing and then reloading the Pistol and Blunderbuss.
Fixed Issues
General
- When Treasure and Collector's Chests are placed in the water they should now correctly sit in the water.
- After lighting all the Flame of Fate at the Fort of the Damned, Graymarrow should climb out of the floor instead of popping into existence.
- Letting go of the Shark Hunter wheel should no longer cause your pirate to jolt off the wheel to the left.
- The Skull lamp at Marauder’s Arch should now be attached to a post and should no longer be floating in mid-air.
- Rowboats should no longer clip through the Ancient Vault’s door.
- The Soulflame Captain and Crew costumes should now correctly emit a green glow.
- Players can no longer get stuck in the Athena's Fortune Hideout and appear in the sea near the Sea Dog's Arena.
Tall Tale
- In the Heart of Fire Tall Tale, dying and then being revived in lava now properly kills the revived player again.
Treasure Vault Voyage
- Devils Roar and Duke’s Voyages – Graymarrow should now spawn the correct colour skeletons during the encounters.
- The corrupt textures in the Kraken's Fall Vault have been removed.
- The “Only Trying to Help” challenge should now unlock when killing a player.
Mysterious Notes
- Unequipping and re-equipping the Mysterious Notes will no longer cause the header and logo to change.
Pirate Emporium
- The Lantern should now be held the correct way when players perform the Lantern Dance emote.
Ashen Lords
- Ashen Chests dropped after defeating an Ashen Lord are now guaranteed to have at least 1 item in them.
Custom Servers
- Players should no longer be able to browse Larinna's Black Market while on a Custom Server.
