Insider Patch Notes 2.0.15.4
Insider Update 2.0.15.4 is now live! As we approach the release of our June update, we have begun to restrict the feature set to those intended for that release. A reminder that changes such as Ashen Lords and the recent fixes to damaging players through the environment are now disabled as we focus on our next update.
Head to the Order of Souls or Duke in the Tavern at any outpost to purchase and start a voyage to vanquish the Damned Fleets! We will also be adding 500,000 Gold, 1000 Doubloons and 5250 Ancient coins to Insider accounts in order to allow you to purchase any new items from the Pirate Emporium and Black Market!

Ghost Ships
- Ghost Ship Voyages – Ghost Ship Voyages can now be purchased from Order of Souls vendors even if you already have one in your inventory. These will be purchasable every in-game day at 6am.
- Dukes Black Market – Players are no longer able to purchase all levels of Ghost Ship voyages separately from Duke’s Black Market, however, there will be one higher level Ghost Ship Voyage available to all players for the first month.
Updates
- Accessibility – When enabling ‘Let Games Read to me’ there is now screen narration to alert when the text chat box is active.
- Non-Verbal Radial – When using a mouse to navigate the non-verbal radial menu, the highlighted slot will remain highlighted when switching between radials or refreshing radials.
- Quest Radial Shortcut – With the recent improvements, the new non-verbal radial has taken the position of the quest radial, which has now been moved to within the equipment radial. Players however do now have the option to key bind a shortcut to the quest radial should they want fast access to this.
Known Issues
Shanty Selection – No musical instruments will work during the Maiden voyage.
Mermaids – If you are swimming towards your mermaid that happens to be within the 150m bounds of the ship, it will despawn.
Localisations – There is a range of missing translations in the non-verbal radial.
*Compass *– A ships compass can get stuck facing north.
Inverted Settings – When you have your controls inverted, controls on a cannon and harpoon may not become inverted.
Ghost Ships – Flamehearts voice over outro sometimes does not play when finishing the Encounter.
Flameheart Skull Cloud – Flameheart’s skull cloud does not turn to face you like other skull clouds if you die when your ship sinks.
Wraith Cannonball – The screaming audio from the Wraith Cannonball will not always play when fired at the player.
Pirate Emporium – The pop up when trying to buy a pet ghost outfit doesn't inform the player, they need to own the Athena 20 promotion.
Emote preview – The 3D preview for the Playful Hide emote will not fully show the emote.
Fixed Issues
General
- Graphical issues such as grid lines being shown in the sea due to specific graphics cards are no longer visible.
- Killing a player at the earliest point of them being vulnerable after revival and then reviving them again will no longer cause their animations/camera to get stuck.
- The “Cronch Eye of Reach” now has then intended yellow lens.
- Pets will no longer react to the “Cannonball Hide” emote by performing the inside cannon pose.
- When in an Emissary, handing in your own flag no longer helps towards commendations.
- There have been improvements made to the animations of a player’s pirate when using a Fishing Rod.
- Jumping out of an emote will no longer prevent the player from emoting again.
- You can no longer hand in your own flag to gain credit towards the Reaper's Bones stolen flag commendations.
Ghost Ships
- The Ghost Ship voyage card when placed on the voyage table now shows finalised artwork.
- Wraith Cannon balls, Phantom Cannonballs, chainshots and firebomb now count towards the “Unleashed the Damned” commendations.
- Flameheart's subtitles and voice over are no longer visible or audible to all players on the server, only for those in range of the encounter.
- The toasts for selling the Ghostly Booty items now show finalised artwork.
- The Burning Blade and Ghost Captain Sails now have the correct description text when viewed in the customization Chests.
- The commendation for selling the Captain Skull of the Damned now correctly refers to them as Captain Skulls of the Damned.
- The Storage Crate of the Damned now has the correct non-verbal text choices.
- Player will no longer experience Flameheart's voice over subtitles overlapping.
Non-verbal Radials
- The “Cannonball Crate of the Damned” and “Captain Skull of the Damned” name now wraps in the box boundaries of the Non-Verbal Radial.
- Players now can use Quick Select while a radial is open.
- The Summon the Megalodon shanty now correctly spells ' Megalodon'
Pirate Emporium
- The Pirate Emporium icon and tabs now show finalised artwork.
