Insider Patch Notes 2.0.14.8
Insider Update 2.0.14.8 is now live! As our May update approaches, we are continuing to restrict our feature set to those planned for release this month. Set sail on the sea’s as an Emissary to represent a Trading company of your choice or head over to Arena and show off your skills in battles against other crews!

Arena
- Beacon Dig site – We have reduced the distance at which you can dig up an Arena chest so that players will need to dig at the beacon rather than just near it.
- Ship Supplies – We have increased the amount of food, cannonballs and wood each ship spawns with so that players are stocked ready for battle.
Updates
- Ending an Emissary Session – The gold awarded when ending an Emissary session via the voting table has now been reduced at lower grades to encourage players to sail to higher grades.
- Emissary Grade Multipliers – The multiplier bonus for rewards cashed in has been rebalanced. Grade 1 no longer provides a multiplier bonus to encourage sailing to higher grades for their rewards, the bonus has now been shared between Grades 2 and 3 to compensate. Grades 4 and 5 remain unchanged.
- Order of Souls Emissary Quest – Starting an Order of Souls Emissary quest, crews will now find that the islands provided are now more random to provide variety to the quest.
- Font Size Accessibility – Increased the font sizes of button prompts to improve accessibility.
Known Issues
- Pirate Emporium – The Ruby Splashtail Monarch costume does not appear on the pirate in the preview when accessing the Pirate Emporium from the front end.
- Missing Localisation – There is a range of missing or incorrect localisations with the Tall Tale Checkpoints.
- Skeleton Forts – When battling against Skeleton Captains the Captain music will start, go back to the normal fort music, and then start again.
- Tall Tale ‘Tale Cards’ – The Tale card on the voting book will remain locked if a player doesn't have the tale unlocked but is joined by someone that has access to the tale.
Fixed Issues
General
- During company onboarding, leaving a certain proximity of the Tavern no longer causes a chance of two Mysterious Strangers to appear.
- If a player has the blue flame equipped and uses the “Lanterns High” emote it will now show as the blue flame and no longer the base flame.
- After disconnecting re-joining your session no longer causes loot to become invisible.
- The colour of the “Rising Morningstar Belt” in the Clothing Chest icon now matches the colour of the belt in game.
- There is no longer an Infinite loading screen when trying to view Emissary ledgers.
- The Athena’s Fortune Emissary tables are now positioned consistently for all outposts.
- Animation Quality Setting now persists between sessions.
- Defeating a Skeleton Lord will now play the full SFX.
Tall Tales
- Tall Tale Checkpoints will now be overridden when reaching a new checkpoint instead of creating a second checkpoint.
- If the player has an active voyage but no voyages in their inventory, only one warning text will now be present on the locked voyage section when proposing another voyage, instead of two warning texts.
- Medallions no longer disappear or rotate horizontally when placed in the Compass Vault.
